Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods Original Soundtrack, Story Order Revealed

Sony Music Japan has revealed the full original soundtrack (OST) for Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods! There are 43 songs, including Japanese band FLOW’s HERO ~Song of Hope~ and cover of Cha-La Head-Cha-La.

Based on the track list, one may be able to decipher certain parts of the movie’s story. Starting from Bils awakening to his arrival on Earth to the ending where peace has been restored. There are even hints at the Super Saiyan God that was announced in the latest scan and Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods Trailer 3.

The Dragon Ball Z OST releases in Japan March 27, 2013. Like the movie, no word on a European or North American release at this time.

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods is the 18th movie in the Dragon Ball anime series. It will take place between Dragon Ball manga chapters 517 and 518, in the 10 year timeskip after Goku defeats Buu, but before the 28th World Martial Arts Tournament. Akira Toriyama along with Toei Animation, Fox International Productions Japan, Shueisha, Fuji TV, Bandai, and Namco Bandai Games are all involved. Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods is set to release in Japanese theaters March 30, 2013. There is no word on a North American or European release date at this time for either.

From what I understand it seems as though this mode is a form above 3 and is actually a level of super saiyan used to fight the “god” hence the name. I mean we don’t have much details but that’s what it looks like to me.

I think it will be super saiyan 3 gogeta will be the super saiyan god. When gogeta was in super saiyan 1 he was easily much much stronger than super saiyan 3 goku. He took down janeba in a second. Imagine what super saiyan 3 gogeta could do.

Vegito would of destroyed Kid Boo, he was better than Super Boo with Gohan absorbed at all times, in the anime he was even superior before his Super transformation, and Goku probably did better against Janemba than he would of against Super Boo as a Super Saiyan 3, the only reason Vegito fought for so long, was so he could save the others.

Because in order to form gogeta, both users must match their power levels to fuse, that means goku would have to literally cut half of his ki and power to match vegeta’s. so when they fuse they both add up/or multiply their ki to make gogeta. but with vegito, goku doesn’t have to limit his ki. and that’ll be multiplied with vegeta’s to make vegito which ultimately makes vegito superior.

as for whose stronger, super buu or janemba? theirs no proof. but you have to remember that superbuu ( absorbed gotenks, piccolo and gohan ) and that vegito was just playing around. if vegito wanted, he could’ve killed super buu without even going super saiyan, but he didn’t because he wanted to save his friends who were turned to candy.

old kai also said that when rivals fused with the patorra earrings they get a power boost. so that’s another key point to remember.

but at the end of the day, it’s all assumptions and opinions. according to raging blast 2, they both are equal in terms of power and that vegito would only win because of fusion doesn’t have a time limit. don’t think that just because janemba is in the movie that it makes him superior to the actual canon villains. that blind misconception has left people to believe that broly is stronger than perfect cell, when in reality perfect cell is stronger than broly. lol

technically he did go ascended SSJ when super buu went inside his body, his muscles were almost the size of broly’s. but that wasn’t the actual form lol. besides he should be able to transform into it anyways. don’t forget BOTH vegeta and goku knows how to go into ascended form. lol, regardless what it is, I’m REALLY looking forward to the new form. it feels pretty great and exciting to be so hyped up about dbz.

It was confirmed by elder Kai, who said Potara fusion is far stronger then normal. Considering both Vegeta an Goku were at the same level during both fusions, that makes the potara stronger by default. Super Buu with Gohan Absorbed (with Gohan having a power greater then SSJ3 already) is far stronger then Kid Buu and stronger then Janemba, yet Vegeto ran circles around him. Regardless, Movie 12 is not canon, so it can’t really be evaluated by the rules of the canon. After all, you need to be about the same height to fuse using the dance, yet Vegeta is at least a foot shorter then Goku (at least).

SSJG is a new transformation, not an existing one. Gogeta is not canon due to it not fitting in the timeline and Toriyama having nothing to do with it, nor can he be. Vegeta and Goku are not the same relative height, which was something established in canon to be necessary to use the fusion dance.

If you really think about it, then was the Super Saiyan 2 Form superior to Broly.
Brolys “Legendary” Super Saiyan Form was nothing else then the Ascended Saiyan Form, which was mistaken for the Legendary Super Saiyan, because they didn’t know it better. Also, Broly was extremely strong on his lowest level, so every Power he had came from his own and not from a legendary form ;o Even though this isn’t confirmed, the Legend says that only 1 Legendary Super Saiyan comes every 1000 years, which is nonsense, because we already know that the FIRST Super Saiyan was Bardock, a completely normal Super Saiyan. So Bardock was the origin of the Legend and that means there is no “Legendary Form” ;3

Everyone is saying Gogeta is “non-canon so it can’t be him” and whatever. However, from what I heard, Akira Toriyama did a drawing of SS3 Goku, SS3 Vegeta and SS3 Gogeta during the movie’s production. So my guess is that this movie will in fact make Gogeta canon now, and he will be the “Super Saiyan God”. Otherwise this movie would be concentrating on Goku too much in comparison to the other characters. At least that is what I think. We won’t know for sure til the movie comes out.

Non Canon Gogeta should be able to Go Super Saiyan 3 anyway. Unless they take a page out of DB.GT’s book and have Goku go Great Ape, Great Golden Ape, and then a new supersaiyan form exclusively for the Z series.< The newest Trailer seems to be pointing in this direction as we see Goku go Great Ape against Bils.
