Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods Trailer 3 has been released! It features some new scenes with Goku taking on Bils, the God of Destruction! Toward the end it also mentions a mysterious Super Saiyan God!

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods is the 18th movie in the Dragon Ball anime series. It will take place between Dragon Ball manga chapters 517 and 518, in the 10 year timeskip after Goku defeats Buu, but before the 28th World Martial Arts Tournament. Akira Toriyama along with Toei Animation, Fox International Productions Japan, Shueisha, Fuji TV, Bandai, and Namco Bandai Games are all involved. Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods is set to release in Japanese theaters March 30, 2013. There is no word on a North American or European release date at this time for either.

    lol I’ve watched Dragon Ball series with original Japanese dub and it was always “saiya-jin” nothing is wrong

    I’m thinking more of the lines “God” not “Go”. SSJ5 wouldn’t make sense, considering Goku has no SSJ4 in canon material.

    You guys are not up to date. The super saiyan god has been announced in the vjump. Supposed to be a new form, legend among the legends. Bills first heard of it recently. It’s why he’s coming now.

    Word is ssj4 is getting cancelled by canon for something new.

    There’s no right or wrong.
    Saiyajin
    1.) is a pun on Yasai, which means Vegetable
    2.) means Saiya-people.
    So, the English Saiyan is also correct in its respective language.

    Actually, the Japanese and the English dubs go hand in hand. The only true mis-pronunciation is in that horrid Dbz Kinect game commercial.
    The narrator in the trailer : “Become a Super Sigh-Yaaaaaaaan” lol now that was laughable.

    SS4 been cancelled out, GT wasn’t created by Akira Toriyama. It’s just that some people didn’t believe or simply ignored it. Don’t get me wrong SS4 was a nice design that people liked but it wasn’t created by the creator of Dragonball himself. Whereas Super Saiyan God is the next level and is actually created by Toriyama.

    GT was never a part of the original manga so it doesnt matter. The people responsible for GT only acquired publishing rights from Toriyama and nothing more. The SSJ God is the next true form and is definitely canon.

    In the original japanese dub and the latin american Dub ass well is Saiyajin .only the english dub pronounce ”saiyan”

    So who was that went to his oozaru form. Was that goku. If so then how did he because his tail was remove a long time ago. And he only recieved with the idea that sprouted in gt which was none canon. So I wonder could that have been a new saiyan completed. Thats my theory I believe that another saiyan will arrive and be the super saiyan god.

    Guys, SS4 was created by Toriyama! He designed all the characters for GT. It was created by others but he liked the idea of it. Otherwise he wouldn’t have agreed with rights and so on. Think about it! He would never just erase a part of DB history – and that’s what GT is – either you like it or not! GT is Dragon Ball and Toriyama will not just ignore that! I’ll bet you!
