Naruto Storm 3: Final Susanoo Moves, Naruto’s Grab

Two new videos for Naruto Storm 3 have been released! The first features the moves for Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan Sasuke’s awakening, Final Susanoo! It’s unclear how many combos the final version of Storm 3 will have, but the demo from the Paris Manga & Sci-Fi Show had one combo for Final Susanoo along with a tilt and jutsu.


The second video shows Tailed Beast Chakra Mode Naruto’s grab, which doesn’t really seem to be a grab. Rather, it looks like a jump/hit kind of attack. At least in the video footage. And Final Susanoo’s “grab” is really just a sing of the sword. In case you are wondering, Saiyan Island defines grab as the R2 + Circle button combination on PS3, which normally has the character grasp the opponent in some shape or form.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is Namco Bandai Games and CyberConnect2′s fourth entry in the Storm series. It will be available for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 in North America and South America on March 5, Europe and Australia on March 8, and Japan on April 18, 2013. The story for the game will begin with the Nine Tailed Fox incident from 16 years ago, continue on to the Five Kage Arc, and go up to the Shinobi War, covering the latest episodes of Naruto Shippuden as they air in Japan.

    I’m actually not a huge fan of Sasuke and Madara (I do like itachi though). I’m just kinda tired of the “sharingan band wagon”. I feel that people like Madara just cause they feel they are supposed to, Me im just not a huge fan of them.

    I’m probably gonna buy the game, But the storm series is lacking serious depth. Its pretty much about a new verson of Sasuke and Naruto and everything doesn’t matter. They sell us new storms games based off of new moves from 2 characters smh.

    So tempting to watch it, but I stopped right at the first 5 secs so I don’t spoil myself and lessen my excitement to play as sasuke. same goes for naruto’s techniques. the theme for sasuke’s video was pretty sick thou lol. – my favorite theme for sasuke :P

    I came to realization that this is the new era of games, so there’s not much “depth” when it comes to fighting games, especially online multiplayer games. so either you take it as it is, or move along. as hypocritical as I may sound, it’s the best you can get. and honestly I really believe this game will refresh our or at least my enjoyment in the series after the sour taste of bad experience that “generation” left in my mouth.

    The one Uchiha who truly stands out for me is Itachi.
    Itachi is a true hero, lived his life as a traitor but always had good intentions in mind.
    I thought Sasuke was ok but in Shippuden, Not at all.
    All in all, we all have characters who we like, but band wagoners are annoying.
    They praise the Uchiha like “Gods”. Please let the Uchihas get a breather.

    Your not the only one, Itachi is cool and I like him but the only thing I really like about Sasuke is his various uses for Chidori and Kirin other than that I think the Sharingan while cool is quite a bit overpowered as far as the series goes. I would have liked to see more on the Byakugan or see more of the Jinchuriki in the series. I also would have liked Tenten to get more spotlight on her skills but that may be because I really like weapons in the series like the windmill shuriken and stuff like that.

    What I was meaning is Madara never switched back to any of his others, except for the rinnegan, because there isn’t really any need. I always though because it was the eternal version then using the one you can go blind with seems silly :S

    two things, at 60$ you were grossly undercharged.

    Ultimate Storm 2 was the incomplete variant. Generations carried the plot forward and filled in a few gaps. as well as focusing on a straight battle system more commonly used by PS2′s ultimate ninja series.

    i felt like Storm 2 was incomplete even after i finished it and was satisfied with the changes and additions that Generations introduced Killer Bee felt more fleshed out. Sage Naruto was revamped, just about every character had new moves or animations inserted that felt a hell of a lot more complete than before. i haven’t been able to play my copy of original Storm since my PS3 codesnapped and it was nice to get the opportunity to relive characters like Kimimaro, young versions of Kiba and Temari who had my favorite grab from that game, as well as rehashed Kakashi and Itachi.

    hell even Storm 2 was pretty incredible in it’s own right considering it was scratch built in only two years. they were going to wait longer, but fan demand pushed it out the door sooner.

    seriously though, where the hell did you pay 60$? my base copy was 80$ and i bought it from EB games.

    for the record, i don’t regret saying any of this. at all. companies who are genuinely trying hard get a tonne of slight from angry fans who compare them to shovelware companies.

    if the internet didn’t carry the strength that it does today, we’d be satisfied to just deal with it and understand that as gamers, there will be bad titles.

    jeez, when i still had my N64, i even played the trash titles because i was enjoying myself too much to care. if fan power gets any bigger, developers are going to be too scared to take risks, and we’ll be stuck with nothing but cardboard copy and paste pleaser games churned out in an effort to stop us from flaming and complaining in online forums and chat rooms.

    no developer should need to make a game for fans that don’t give a s**t.

    because it doesnt really matter and has nothing to really do with the overall real story. sharingan is talked about in depth because sasuke is a main character and it is more important to explain his powers and not some side characters stories.

    Dude…they confirmed it 4 months after generations but they where working on it since before generations. Generations was meant to entertain fans UNTIL they finished Storm 3. And why does everybody hate generations? I love it. Generations WAS NOT made for story mode. It was made to play online and entertain yourself while they finished Storm 3. Anyone who hears the interviews knows. And even if you don’t listen to the intervies you would know that. It is very obvious.

    it was a better version of Storm 2, with all the elements from Storm 1. saying they didn’t do any work for it all is a joke. Masked Man and his entire moveset. first and second hokages, the tsuchikage, raikage and mizukage, snake cloak kabuto, Zabuza, Haku (both forms) all new content for Storm. all built and animated well and all accounted for in the roster. they fixed up Killer Bee and his finishing moves and made Sage Naruto more accurate. they even gave us a new naruto and sasuke, which i might add they’re doing again.

    to say the game isn’t worth 60$ is cynical. you can tout Capcom syndrome all you want for it but the truth is you still paid to buy it, which meant it appealed to you in some way after it’s release. they kept some characters exclusive to the support line just like in other titles and i think it was the right choice. the sound 4 had their time in the sun in the original Ultimate Ninja series.for the most part they were terribly broken, especially Kidomaru. at the end of the day, Namco Bandai can do whatever the hell they want with the roster. if you want to take the reigns at their HQ then give them a call. i’m sure you’ll do a smash up job on the next project. and we’ll see how much profit for the next project a 20$ price tag returns to you.

    no, Ultimate Storm 3 ISN’T going over the exact same plot. they’re skipping over the parts that Storm 2 and Generations have already covered to bring the entirety of the ninja war. this isn’t no copy and paste DBZ game. this is new proper content. Storm 2 ended with the defeat of Pain, Generations ended with the 5 Kage Summit. you’d remember that if you’ve been reading SI info. certain characters didn’t become full fledged playable in past games. so? is this really that new and shocking? Anko, Shizune and Kurenai weren’t playable either. neither was konohamaru, hanabi, any of the parents of the other teams or might suit naruto. where’s the love for them?

    the roster is going to have some holes. personally i think they made better supports. and at least they appeared in SOME medium. they could have been left out completely. then how would you be reacting to my above comment.

    Dude they never said that storm 3 wouldn’t be released till the end of the manga. I watch all the interviews. That game was made to entertain fans with the online play. Was I dissapointed by the short story. Hell yeah I was,but it kept me busy online. The online mode was good. Endless,Player match,Begginer match(or w.e. it’s called) Ranked Match,Tournament,replay,you could save replay. Dude online in Generations is sick. And if you want to talk about rip offs in gaming I could name a lot. I bet half the people that are whining about generations still have it in their homes or play it online instead of returning it.     You’re kidding me right? Every single power up Naruto gets either is taken away from him, or has an insane drawback. IE. rasenshuriken (will destroy his arm), Itachi’s crow (taken away), the kyuubi for 95% of the story (shortens his life span), sage mode (will turn into a FROG), etc .etc. Everything Sasuke gets is just given to him, he gets better training (looking at you part 1 kakashi{I dont hate kakashi…}), the cheapest bloodline in the world (stealing peoples work? hhhmmm) and even when there is a drawback, its fixed in the next panel (goes blind? No problem tale Itachi’s eyes and make going blind a friggen benefit).

    your wrong, it does matter. that is the art of good story telling, you do away with plot holes. its not about just being a fan for the main character, its about developing an overall good story. the sharingan has been talked about in depth over and over with upgrade after upgrade, it grows tiresome.

    It is also silly to say one thing in part 1 of the story and then completely ignore, contradict and not justify it in Part 2. the Side Characters are what make it complete not everyone follows suit and lusts over the sasuke character.
