I feel that the Storm series is not as good as it should be, but they always give just enough to keep people buying. So its like being stuck between a rock and a hard place.

No. Different characters have different Awakening criteria. Some like Sasuke and the Jinchuriki(excluding Naruto) need their health to be down.
Others can instant awakening.
Not both

I hope CC2 give us a ‘What If’ Gaara DLC where he still has the Shukaku. Pleeeease CC2!

This Garra is of the Kage Summit not the General Garra seeing as how he does not have the extra chest plate.

None of the 7 first Jinchuriki are no longer Jinchurikis, but they have their bijus as awakenings. They might have been 2 versions of Gaara, one from Generations with Biju as awakening, and one from Storm 3 with instant awakening, L1/R1 actions and the new ultimate jutsu.

It’s only a few weeks left, we shall pass time with a demo to enjoy, as CC2′s getting ready to deploy.

I was wondering. In the demo version, they had symbols next to the characters which indicated whether or not it was an instant awakening or a low-health awakening. I thought the symbols looked similar to the support type symbols. In that sense, I hope each character has one of each kind, but each character has a default method, and the other you have to unlock, similar to the other support types with different characters. Then you can choose which one you use before the fight. I think it’s a possibility, but it will probably be quite unlikely. It would be cool if it was though.

the action tilt? well thats when you flick the left analog stick quickly and press o. for playstation, for xbox i think its the same just with different letters for the controller.

I don’t know why people are begging for Gaara to go into Shukaku? I mean in the anime or manga he never went into Shukaku. I am talking about Shippuden,before anyone starts going off at me cause in P1 he went Shukaku mode. And yes I know they could have added that into generations when they had P1 Gaara there,but Generations was supposed to be to entertain people online and to introduce a few characters while they kept working on Storm 3. Sure I know Kazakage Gaara would be cool if he had Shukaku as Awakening but if they are going by the anime,he never transformed into Shukaku in Shippuden. I guess that’s why they didn’t put it as his Awakening. Also, the Gaara you guys saw was Kage Summit Gaara,not War General Gaara. Maybe they got him new moves for his War Outfit. Who knows. Just remain calm and wait for news or the game to come out.

i thought the same thing, the jinchuriki are kind of ‘what if’ characters anyway since they arent edo tensei’d or enhanced with the rinnegan/sharingan. early part 2 Gaara with shukaku would be amazing

it looks like the clip of roshis ultimate is ninja move cancel > ultimate during his up combo. i analyzed it and i think thats the only thing it could be. the opponent on fire and falling. i dont see what else could have caused that to happen. NMC > ULTIMATE LIVES ON

Still that isn’t confirmed; Just because the game didn’t confirmed that all the characters will have both Awakenings, Insta one and Health other.

And not all the people have access to pay for Dlc’s….; So it will make a lot of kids didn’t end the story, and they lose A LOT of money.

Bijuu Mode is just the Ultimate Jutsu. He’s not playable or an awakening until confirmed. Only KCM is an awakening

Its really the manga that decides what direction the story goes or when the story will end since thats the original creators story.

well i think its weird that they cant simply freshen up her moveset I mean they dont even differentiate between drunken gambling tsunade and Hokage tsunade… Hell if they can make two versions of minato who is damn near only known as the fourth hookage they can make two tsunade’s

I actually have also seen the video, I can’t seem to find it, but i know that he was fighting a jinchuriki when the guy did it, and everyone went OOOHHHHHHH in the video, lol thats the reason i remember it, and it was like one of the firs videos you’d see when you typed it on youtube/

Did they add the feature of a different jutsu while in awakened mode? I think all characters who don’t transform while awakened should get a new jutsu as well.

they never implement her yin seal release in the games, they can give her summoning jutsu, a heal function, change her jutsu animation to a completely different one with the same concept.

there are a lot of things they could do for her, if they go strictly by the anime. same goes to ALL the other characters as well. no excuses.

yeah, but if you look on naruto-storm3 dot com , the jinchurikis has rinnegan and sharingan.

Just throwing this out there: 1) This demo only has 3 attack types for all the characters. 2) Gaara’s moveset is the same in this demo, even though we KNOW that he has a new Ultimate. 3) While Gaara DOES have his unique Awakening L1/R1 attacks, Naruto still has his normal support characters displayed while in his Awakening Mode.

All that leads me to believe that not everything shown is current to what the game will have when it’s released, and it was just a custom mashup put together from some existing character elements. That also leaves a potential for Naruto to have his full Kurama Mode Awakening in the actual game, since it’s his Awakening that’s partially completed in this version, and that makes me especially curious.

Suffice to say, I highly doubt that either Naruto or Gaara are going to be the same as they are in this demo, but the other Jinchuriki, Hanzou/Darui/Mifune are likely the same as what we’ll see in the game, but with full combos.

if cc2 could give normal gaara shukaku and give gaara war outfit normal awakening as i see this as the only possible soulution of seeing shukaku in the game as it follows both the manga and anime storyline

i honestly think storm 2 has been the best so far. people complained about the sub system but thats just cause they sucked lol. If you simply press the O/B button as slow as possible its really hard to sub and you got full combos all the time

Of course it would have been better. But you know what, that isn’t even their decision. Namco Bandai is the publisher, they decide the release date. Regardless, both companies want to make money so they’ll release at the projected optimal time to do so.

The scan didn’t say playable. It was just an orginial artwork to show all the jinchuriki (current and former-current) are playable and not necessarily their Bijuu modes.

You should be getting a little of your hopes up coz Tsunade is involved in the story mode where her abilities are very important.

The substitution system wasn’t bad and the awakenings in storm 3 won’t be a problem
1-They inflict less damage.
2-You can grab them
3-You can end them with an ultimate
4-If you are talking about instant awakening, it is weaker and the chakra bar decreases

They added KCM naruto in naruto storm generations and he wasn’t in the anime yet, and it seems this will have madara (archievement list) so they may add the hokages as bonus characters

It’s not so simple to sever the contract when the summoner is still in play and is aware of what the Resurrected in attempting to do. Kabuto was left trapped in his mind and that was the opening Madara needed.

They only had 2 versions because they wanted to show off his flying raijin level 2. In Storm 3 there will only be hokage Minato since flying raijin level 2 is now his awakening action.

That’s because Gen was only a bridge between them and not a full game. It was mainly focusing on improving the online mode, which it did, making a bigger roster, and show a little sneak peak of characters, stages and story elements we may look forward to in 3, the story mode didn’t take a big role there, that’s why you have no boss battles there since it’s not a full game. It was also a little cheer-up for the xbox players since they never had Storm 1.

And bars didn’t change at all. Sure you only have 2 bars instead of 3 now, but for that attacks only do 2/3 of the damage they did before. It looks less, but the battles didn’t become any shorter.

What i miss the most from Storm 1 is the awakening ultimates. Just imagine what the planetary rasengan would have looked like if it was an ultimate…

yeah. Although it is true since KCM1 was in Gen, and this is majorly updated. You can barely see the are the same character. And the true KCM2 is called BM. BUt i am 75% sure BM will be playable of some kind. There is enough evidence.

BUt out of any Storm game, 3 looks by far the best. I am truly truly excited for the awakening actions of all the chars. The ultimates are way more badass than they ever were, not as long as i Storm 1, but they finally regained that “BAM!” effect they were missing in Storm 2 and Gen. Just that feeling that something big was happening on screen. I mean Storm 2′s Rasenshuriken might have been a simple jutsu as well from the looks.

And the boss battles look much cooler now too, the tournament mode and story mode got major updates, and i HOPE you can set these new battle conditions in free battle too. I want Storm 1′s “Start awakened” back, to have some Bijuu vs Bijuu action without having to let the com hit me down for more than half the life.

Bijuu mode is not in the game.
