Naruto Storm 3: Over 100 Character Icons

Saiyan Island’s yokito85 has been hard at work! In the Saiyan Island Forums, he had released an accurate Storm 3 character roster mock-up on February 24th, two whole days before the official one was released today, on February 26th!

In the official roster, the Edo Kage, seem to be missing. We initially had thought they were playable in free battle based on Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Trailer 6 and a prior scan. Looking at the trailer and scan again, they still seem playable. In the screenshots within the scan, they have their own chakra and health bar. So where are they in the character roster?

According to yokito85, the Edo Kages will be playable, but they are hidden on the roster screen. How can they be made available? Well, we aren’t too sure at the moment. It’s possible they may be unlocked through downloadable content (DLC) or some other means. It isn’t the fire icon at the bottom left, as that was shown as an icon to preset. We’ll have to wait and see to how the Edo Kages can be accessed, that is if they can be accessed. For now Saiyan Island has to re-categorize the Edo Kage playable status as rumor until further notice. It would be odd for CyberConnect2 to leave them out though, wouldn’t it? Especially since they’ve shown a couple of jutsus each in the Naruto Shippuden anime.

Anyways, yokito85 has released over 100 character icons from the game featuring all of the characters that are in the game playable or as support in either free battle, story mode, or both! Take a look below!

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is Namco Bandai Games and CyberConnect2’s fourth entry in the Storm series. It will be available for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 in North America and South America on March 5, Europe and Australia on March 8, and Japan on April 18, 2013. The story for the game will begin with the Nine Tailed Fox incident from 16 years ago, continue on to the Five Kage Arc, and go up to the Shinobi War, covering the latest episodes of Naruto Shippuden as they air in Japan.
