where’s your proof that 4 combos will be in the main game? it makes no sense to take them out in a demo that was released close to the actual release date, if you look at Darui’s, Hanzo’s and Mifune’s character introduction videos you will notice they have three ground combos as well…im thinking a new mechanic has took the combos place, since i cant think of any other reason why they would remove it.

Now come on people! CC2 has made so many new awesome things like Yagura using a shield that protects you some secs., naruto with awesome mini rasenshuriken, absolutley sick combos for all characters , destructible environment, awesome stages, a leveled up character roster, nice graphics, a new special when using ougi in red area(lifebar) and many more awesome things… and still some people are complaining :/

Only complai I have so far, and it is big enough that if it wasn’t for bijuu naruto, I wouldn’t get this game, is the sub bar system. I don’t have a problem with bar itself, but the difficulty level of substitution. It should go back to 1 and 2. That was the reason gen did not receive a ad much attention from me as 2 and especially 1

Another example is on the video on this page with Yagura’s moveset. Half way through his ultimate it has a flashback which will only happen if the ultimate will take off the rest of the opponent’s health.

it’s never the same when using any supports, and using any supports makes them come back much slower that’s been a given but op supports as history shows, hidan and pain, or in generations young gaara, ppl used those cuz they helped more on a battle field.. but this game battle mechanics seems slightly different so am guessing it might not be wise to use anything BUT official teams if u want an edge.. but hey who knows, some people fight with 1 support n they jus fine so guess we gotta w8 n c

oh and they’re making a new card set named and advertising storm 3, and they’re using the character stencils (pictures) for the ninja cards, so it kinda confirms the ninjas so far playable. right now they’ve already shown all of the jinchuuriki with the sharingan and rinnegan. also all of the seven swordsman, snake kabuto (not snake sage mode), haku, zabuza, and yesterday they showed ginkaku so today they’re going to show kinkaku

Every character that has been revealed and will be revealed will be playable, because the President of CC2 EXCLUSIVELY said that there will be no support only characters in this game, meaning that if CC2 confirms a character it is playable.

I understand that they’re great characters, but people are constantly excited for them. There are other characters that could be added, and characters that could be improved. I’m not going to lie, I would enjoy those two in the game, but people are acting like it’s their dying wish just to see those two in the game. Wow my predictions for naruto and sasuke have been spot on so far. Awhile ago I said that naruto’s KCM would planetary rasengan for jutsu, mini rasenshurkien for tilt, and therest of his rasengans incorporated into his combos. I also said EMS sasuke would be in. The one thing I was wrong about was that I thought naruto would be permanently in KCM and then awaken to bijuu mode but now I like what they did better. I love the fact that ppl can go into KCM with just a flick of light and they can get out of it too at will. It’s just like the anime especially since he can go into it multiple times. However I’m still 100% sure bijuu mode is in because if you think about it, sasuke’s ultimate is final susanno and his awakening is final susanno. Since naruto’s ultimate is bijuu mode then his “TRUE” awakening is definitely bijuu mode. I know ppl would say that this is too overpowered but then again it is naruto. Plus they have too keep him evened out with sasuke and too be honest, susanno sasuke could probably rape KCM naruto due to fact that his subbing was changed(which is a good thing). They revealed snake kabuto and masked man right before the game came out so I believe they will reveal madara and bijuu mode before the game comes out and maybe rinnegan tobi but that’s unnecessary

They did not have there personality’s at that time and where mere puppet’s to be used by Tobi. The most we could hope for is that Tobi fight’s in a slimier style to Pain and uses the Jinjuriki as his paths .

lots of people have no problem with the sub bar they put it in the game so people would have to learn to conserve there subs by other means (BLOCKING) so i think you just need to learn to get better at the game and most people ive talked to are fine with the sub bar it makes it more entertaining

Personally my only complaint about the sub bar is that it makes substitutions too much easier to use. In Storm 1/2 you still had to time it right to get off a substitution, whereas in Generations, so long as you press within the same century or so of the attack hitting you substitute it(obvious exaggeration is obvious); that also leads to the issue of the game using multiple substitutions to substitute one attack, which gets incredibly annoying. Also the sub system makes the battles based more upon just “a battle of subs/cancellations” rather than an actual battle. I get what CC2 was going for with the sub system, but it certainly requires revamping to make it so that a battle isn’t built solely upon subs and cancellations.

My only complaint with this AWESOME game is just that the 6 swordsmen and the twins aren’t playable. Why are Cc2 being so lazy and adding the same old characters in like Normal Kabuto, orochimaru, jiraiya, hidan, pein and Silly Tobi? They have the chance to add in so many new characters like the 6 swordsmen, the gold and silver bro’s, Pakura, gari, Chojuro, etc……They even made Karin playable, so why not them? Please Cc2, wake up and make them playable! Not the same old characters with the same old copy + paste Move set.

Either way people will complain if they exclude characters. No one will really care about Pakura,Gari,Chojuro and even the Swordsmen. It’s hard to create a moveset when there is almost nothing to begin with. Also they might be playable still.

You seem like a decent person (unlike some other). What people are confused about when i say crap about Sub bar system is that, i don’t like how easy it has become to substitute I think the BAR itself should stay as it is so it limits the substitutions. The Sub jutsu itself became too easy to perform, now noobs dodge previously undodgeable moves. and chakra dash, although was a nice addition, it took away from the battle, because, all people did in battle was , combox10, sub, dash, rinse and repeat, and you can not deny this fact Other than that, it is a good system.

Even so, they’re a total waste of effort. No one in their right mind likes ring outs, even in other games, so why bother even writing the code for them? Surely there are better things that they could’ve been doing with their time, such as putting things in place that discourage spamming or bringing back jutsu clashes, which are about the only things the fans have been asking for since Storm 2 came out.

Pretty much Bijuu Naruto is confirmed as an awakening for one of the Narutos, it was just a split second when a player awakened with the chakra coat and everything. But he unawakened shortly after. But his awakening was Bijuu Mode Naruto. ( Not a giant Kurama Naruto, but him in the coat. Assuming giant Kurama is in the combos somewhere that were not shown. )

actually, what i really want to see is Tsunade with a great awakening. They refuse to give her the reverse seal awakening, just like they wouldn’t give choji his butterfly form, but since choji is getting his uber awakening, maybe Tsunade will get hers. The new mode she showed off against Madara, when she is Nigh invincible and strong as ****. I hope she gets it. And Jugo should get his LvL 2 seal mode.

yeah i was bumed out about it n thought they would revert to storm 2 style and FIX THAT! to make it dedicate with use of chakra…. that wud also limit all those spam jutsu monkeys and to be true to the show, everything should be based on chakra use to fight but hey we cant do nun about it now. but to respond even better to ur comment they DID make it work better, lot of the glitches esp with the giant awakenings were fixed, AND if u look closely when u run out and some1 is comboin u, everytime u get hit it fills up a tad bit.. so it’s much better in this game AND supports work better so…

Now ur getting the point . Yeah… it will be more cool, but we cant expect that they point Naruto Bijuu Mode as a full playable if him didnt appear fully yet in the Anime.
Btw; There is 3 Narutos:
-The first one, that i think is the Demo’s one (5 Kage Summit NEW);
-The 3th One (Talking in Character Selection Screen) That as i see, is Sage Mode Naruto… (Still we didnt see him…, but is the one that fight vs Kurama in barely 2nd Boss Battle…)
-Finnally the 2nd Space in Character Screen, that still doesnt appear… i mean, appear like a Konoha Symbol, and obviously is a Naruto; But still we cant know if is Tailed Beast Chakra mode, or Fully Bijuu Mode.

Maybe they’re some side characters like Kuchina, Iruka (lol), Shukaku(?), Rin, Karin, that Tsunade look alike that was friends with Darui and someone else.

I don’t know about that but that sand spear was definitely his R1/L1 awakening jutsu (and it did look similar to his Gen UJ you could always find it in the SI screenshots). He was playable in the Jinchuriki demos but it doesn’t seem like anyone bothered picking him.

I’m with you. There’s something just wrong with it. I’m also not being ungrateful for what CC2 has created but I personally believe that this was a bad idea. It just doesn’t feel like naruto. I know it’s a game haha but when do you see them substituting every 2 seconds. There should be more of a limit like how it is in the clash of ninja series where the sub bar increases the more the player fights. This will stop players from staying back and waiting for their sub bar to recharge which kills the game flow. I like the cancels too but there should also be a limit on that. Like a player could only do it once every 5 secs or something… Just ideas.

exactly. Otherwise it is a battle of hit,sub,dash, rinse and repeat, until 1 runs out of substitutions in which case the aforementioned person becomes helpless and I personally can take away over 2/3 of their life bar easily B4 even a single sub recharges. It is not right.
