One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 Scan Shows Garp, Evil Straw Hats

Three new One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 scans have been released! Collectively, we will call these scan 9 on Saiyan Island. They show Kuzan, Sakazuki, Borsalino, Garp, Law, Smoker, Perona, and Enel as playable characters! It also shows what look to be Evil Straw Hats Zoro, Sanji, Robin, Franky, and Usopp.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 is an action/adventure in development by Tecmo Koei’s Omega Force. The game will be published by Namco Bandai Games in Japan (PS3/PSVita) on March 20, 2013 and Europe/North America (PS3 only) sometime in the summer of 2013.

So I’m going to assume that the characters they showed in the third trailer in those cutscenes (crocodile, Boa Hancock, Buggy, Mihawk, Jinbe) and the characters from the last game (Ace Whitebeard) are playable since it wouldn’t make sense it wouldn’t make sense not to include them. Awesome

So far from trailers/scans it says this game has an original story and “what if” scenarios that’s why you see TS Straw Hats on sky island facing Enel or on Thriller Bark against Moria.

Full roster has been leaked, it is the following:

All the straw hats, TS and PTS, Jinbe, Garp, Smoker, Akainu, Aokiji, Kizaru, Kuma, Mihawk, Hancock, Law, Crocodile, Shirohige, Marco, Ace, Kurohige, Enel, Perona and Buggy.
I honestly expected some characters like Moriah or Lucci, but it seems they haven’t made it. Still glad to see Marco in though.

Don’t worry man, at first I was also sceptical when I saw Moriah wasn’t playable and Perona was, but after seeing how he was right about Garp, I totally believe this is the final roster now, gonna miss Moriah, the CP9, Magellan and Ivankov though

Never know could be an incomplete leaked list, Magellan still has a chance seeing as he was in the trailer with croco and others. But i’m surprised Tashigi isn’t playable if the list is true.

There might be more. The game is obviously changing at a rapid pace considering they’ve added the Punk hazard arc and it’s only just coming to a close in the manga right now. They may add more over the next few days, and hopefully too!

It’d be pretty hard to do that considering it’s a Dynasty Warriors game. It’d be interesting to have online matches to see who can kill the most enemies and such. It’d be like there are teams of 3 to 5 and each team has a side (marines or pirates) and they must compete for territory captures and kills.

Man, wtf, this game will be awesome! but not great news! It’s the same from the first game, just with more few characters playable, 10 or 11, that’s nothing in comparison to Naruto Storm 3! U know, I don’t like Naruto and love One Piece! But why not Shanks, Marco, Lucci, CP9, are playable?? you can’t say that SHANKS ARE NOT PLAYABLE CAUSE HE DIDN’T SHOW ANY POWER, cause GARP are playable in this game, and he just gave PUNCHS in the anime/manga, so shanks can use sword and all kinds of Haki!…I will just buy this game if it have more characters and entertainment!

I hope Marineford is in, maybe we will get a “what if” Akainu killed both Ace and Luffy story for it to end with him fighting Aokiji. Also a story for Ace if he is in for a “what if” he survived scenario along with Whitebeard.

Well going off of the previous game luffy was the main story then another log was each characters story mode. I dont see why theyd change it if anything they would update it to give a deeper story for each char.
