Naruto Storm 3: Scored 39/40 by Famitsu, Highest Rated Naruto Game

Naruto Storm 3 is making it’s way to the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 next week on April 18, 2013. Popular Japanese magazine Famitsu has gotten their hands of a copy of the Japanese version of the game and their verdict is in! They scored the game a 39/40! How did they come up with that score? Well, Famitsu generally has 4 staff members play the game and then give their opinion of it in the form of a score out of 10. The sum of their individual scores is the total score for the game. In other words for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, three staff members gave it a 10/10 and one gave it a 9/10 for a total of 39/40. That is a really good score, 97.5%!

Of course North American, European, South American, and Australian fans have had the game for well over a month now so opinions on the game may differ. But for the good people at Famitsu, Naruto Storm 3 is tied with Naruto Storm 2 for the highest rated Naruto game ever!

Here is a breakdown of Famitsu scores for the last few Naruto games released:

  • Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 (PS3/360) – 10/10/10/9 (39/40)
  • Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 (PS3/360) – 10/9/10/10 (39/40)
