Back on December 20 of 2012, Namco Bandai Games released the command based RPG, One Piece: Romance Dawn, for the Sony PSP in Japan. This year on August 8, they are also releasing it to the Nintendo 3DS! No additional information has been released, but you can check out videos and images of the PSP version of the game in the One Piece: Romance Dawn section.

One Piece: Romance Dawn follows the One Piece manga story all the way from the beginning in East Blue and contains 30 minutes of anime-style footage. Players can adventure through the One Piece world, engaging in battle to gain experience and improve abilities such as speed, defense, and attack strength.

saiyanisland needs to bring back the saiyan in island or this site is going to become konoha island or treasure island

  • Suck My Bankai

Lol saiyan island answered our requests when we asked them to update the website with other news rather than naruto!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Baryll

There’s only so much Dragon Ball Z news, though. It was a bad idea in my opinion to name it Saiyan Island but make it a shonen centric site, to be honest. Shonen Island would be a much better idea.

  • Sam Angelus

Shonen Island is a good idea…..since you can post about other shonen stuff.

Because money is trolling them. It was already fairly stupid for them to say that they need more Vita for them to sell their games. What the Vita really needs are exclusive games to sell not just port of past awesome games or multiplat ports of already decent/good franchise. It needs games and as along the industry this, Vita will go nowhere as near the 3DS popularity.

People used to say the same thing for 3DS before its price cut and look at it go now. Almost 100$ off and look all of the games that are coming to it, not counting the first party offerings. Really Nintendo good job on the first party games… good job!

PS Vita has (among their good/great first party games): Uncharted Golden Abyss, Gravity Rush, Wipeout, LittleBigPlanet… and ? It needs more stellar franchises to push the hardware hidden potential. There’s so much they could do with it, yet the industry fails to see and to meet this potential.

The problem is not the Vita, it’s the entire industry my friend. They care too much about money, and not enough about gamers :/…. (but not Naughty Dog, MediaMolecule, SSM, SuckerPunch… :p)

The Vita isn’t selling well, of course it wouldn’t get support. Rather than support the system and LOSE money, Namco Bandai are supporting the popular portable hence why the 3DS is getting two new One Piece games. Just be glad you’re getting something, if Romance Dawn was on the Vita, chances are it’s localisation would be dropped like the Vita version of Pirate Warriors 2. The 3DS is a popular system worldwide so we’ll finally get a localisation of Romance Dawn with any luck.

Agreed, but there really isn’t enough One Piece in the gaming industry.

I get it but to make a system sell you give it the games they made them for Japan and they are selling there
