The Jump Super Anime Tour is returning for the first time in over two years! In the latest issue of Shonen Jump, Shueisha is announcing a brand new Naruto Shippuden anime special this fall. This won’t be a TV special, it will be an exclusive original part of the upcoming Jump Super Anime Tour 2013 event. The magazine teases the special will feature the “unbelievable appearance of a certain popular character.”
The parent company of Shonen Jump, Shueisha, generally brings festivities to different areas of Japan as part of the tour, focusing on it’s anime/manga properties. This year they will travel to five cities throughout Japan from October 6 to November 24.
Previous specials created for the event include “Dragon Ball: Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return” and “Naruto: The Cross Roads”, both of which eventually made it online English subbed.
No additional information has been revealed about the new Naruto Shippuden anime special, but we’ll keep you updated right here on Saiyan Island!
