Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z – High Quality Scan 17, Special Poster

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z scan 17 was released earlier this week in low quality, but a high quality version has now been released! Click it to see it in it’s full glory. The scan mentions the demo of Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z is due out in Japan in December. It also details four types of game modes in Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z, which we had previously reported on.

  • Normal Battle: This is a standard 4-on-4 battle. Each team is allotted with the ability to “Retry” a certain amount of times after members are defeated. The first team who drops to 0 in the “Retry” count loses the game!
  • Score Battle: This is a 4-on-4 battle. To reach the highest score possible, each team has to knockout as many people as possible from the other team in a certain amount of time.
  • Battle Royal: This is a free-for-all, where every man is for himself! Each player will have to knockout the others and reach the highest score possible. All 8 players will battle for the same and unique crown.
  • Dragon Ball Grab: 2 teams of 4 players will fight for the 7 Dragon Balls dispersed in the field! The first team who collects all of the Dragon Balls wins the game! If neither team manages to do that in the allotted time, the one having the highest number wins.

Note: Namco Bandai has also confirmed a December demo for Europe. No announcement yet for North America.

V-Jump, which is where the above scan is from, also included a special poster for Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z. It features Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Gohan, Goten, kid Trunks, Bills, Whis, Frieza, Cell, Buu, giant ape Bardock, giant ape Vegeta, giant ape Gohan, Hirudegarn, and Meta Cooler Core in the center of the poster. Around the sides are tons of screenshots with pretty much a giant cast of characters from the game.
