Dragon Ball Z Battle of Z – 1 vs 1 Battle

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z is designed to be a 4 vs 4 fighter, however, developer Artdink has implemented functionality that allows players to engage in a 1 vs 1 battle! It’s not local, but instead online. How can one engage in a Dragon Ball Z Battle of Z 1 vs 1 battle? Simple, take a look at the instructions and video below!

1. Go to “Battle Mode”
2. Select “Custom Match”
3. Select “Create Room” (you can also do “Search Rooms” or “Invitation Room”)
4. On the room screen, go to player limit and change it to “2 Players” and then click “Confirm”
5. Select your character and wait for somebody to join your room (or you can join somebody else’s room with a 2 player limit) and you are ready for 1 vs 1!

You can also do 2 vs 2 and 3 vs 3. At least in the demo, there isn’t any option for 2-vs-1 or 3-vs-2. If you try to do a 2 vs 1 by selecting “3 players” as seen in the video below, the game will automatically select an additional character for the lone person. Again, this is all online, the only local gameplay is single player. In Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z any and all multiplayer will be online.

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z is the latest game in the legendary DBZ series. It will host team-based combat with up to 8 players, including 4 on the same team. There will be up to 70 playable characters, three of which are DLC. Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z is scheduled for release on on January 23, 2014, Europe on January 24, 2014, and North America on January 28, 2014.
