Posted on December 17, 2013

The Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z demo is now available on the PlayStation Network (PSN) and Xbox Marketplace in North America. The demo is also out in Japan and Europe will be getting it tomorrow on the Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, and Vita. Check out how to find the demo below on the North American PlayStation Network along with English dub gameplay! The first video is of story mode and the second shows some of the menus in online mode. Players can communicate online with teammates and opponents through voice chat or pre-defined phrases.

If you are looking for Japanese audio with English subtitles, take a look here!

The trophies and achievements from the Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z demo will be transferable to the full version of the game. It’s worth noting the console (PS3/Vita/360) and region (North America/Japan/Europe) must be the same for both the demo and full version in order for progress to transfer.

If you are wondering how to find the demo on the North American PSN, here is one way. The video shows the PS3 version explicitly, but selecting “New PS Vita Demos” as opposed to “New PS3 Demos” will get you to the Vita version. Note: The order of items may change as more content is added to the PSN.

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z is the latest game in the legendary DBZ series. It will host team-based combat with up to 8 players, including 4 on the same team. There will be up to 70 playable characters, three of which are DLC. Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z is scheduled for release on on January 23, 2014, Europe on January 24, 2014, and North America on January 28, 2014.
