Dragon Ball Xenoverse: 13,244 Copies Sold in Japan Week 4

Week 4 sales numbers for Dragon Ball Xenoverse in Japan have been released, courtesy of Japanese company MediaCreate. Between February 23 and March 1, 13,244 copies were sold on Sony’s platforms – 8,249 on the PlayStation 3 and 4,995 on the PlayStation 4. That brings the total games sales since its February 5th launch in Japan to over 140,525 (PlayStation 3: 81,087 copies and PlayStation 4: 59,438 copies)! We say over because only the PlayStation sales numbers were reported, as you may know Xbox is not popular in Japan, and sales numbers for games generally do not make the top 20 list of games sold.

For the curious, here are the previous week sales:

  • Week 3: 19,450 copies sold (PS3: 12,211 / PS4: 7,239)
  • Week 2: 28,919 copies sold (PS3: 16,406 / PS4: 12,513)
  • Week 1: 78,911 copies sold (PS3: 44,221 / PS4: 34,690)

Here are the top 20 games sold in Japan between February 23 and March 1. Dragon Ball Xenoverse is in the eighth and sixteenth positions.
