Bandai Namco Games, this morning, released a patch for Dragon Ball Xenoverse. It features improved online services and data for DLC Pack 1 (DBGT Goku, Trunks, Pan playable characters and quests), updates for dialogue and text to match, and a few other fixes. Details can be seen below.
No specific release date has been given for the DLC Pack 1, however, Bandai Namco has confirmed it will hit Steam, Xbox Marketplace, and PlayStation Network sometime this month. Saiyan Island’s guess is next Tuesday (the 17th) for North America.
We noted the updates brought in two new masters who we believe (not officially confirmed) are Tien and Yamcha by matching up character picture and master silhouette. We also recall Yamcha saying to our created character in one of the Quests that we should come train with him sometime. We tried looking around for both Tien and Yamcha, but only found the masters we were familiar with. It’s likely they will begin to show once DLC Pack 1 is released for those who purchased it.
– Player Match (1v1, 2v2, 3v3) are functioning properly on all platforms. This mode is accessible from ‘Player Match Online’ desk in Toki Toki City.
– Multi Lobbies and Single Lobbies functioning properly on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 and we are still continuing to work on improvements on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC/Steam.
Please note that your network status can also affect the server connection.
