Last week, Dragon Ball Xenoverse received patch version 1.06, which gave players worldwide the data for Goku and Vegeta’s Dragon Xenoverse: Resurrection F movie costumes on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. We knew how to get Goku’s costume – see the movie in Japanese theaters and get a special code to download it – we just didn’t know how to get Vegeta’s costume. Well, it’s actually quite simple – visit a page on the official Japanese Dragon Ball Xenoverse website at dbx.bngames.net/sp/campaign-present!
As soon as you land on the page, scroll down a bit and there will be codes for all platforms that received the patch and it’s as simple as entering the one for that console you own at the respective online store. They may be available for a limited time, so get these free DLC codes while you can!
Now, we have to mention this is only for the Japanese (JP) version of the game. If you use the code in the Japanese PlayStation Store or Xbox Games Store, you will be able to redeem it, however, the DLC will not be compatible with any version aside from the Japanese version of the game.
The American and European branches of Bandai Namco Entertainment have not yet announced how players can obtain either Goku or Vegeta’s costume. To our surprise, they were not part of DLC Pack 3, but of course, that doesn’t rule out the possibility that we might get them another way in the future. If and when we do get news on how to obtain Goku and Vegeta’s movie costumes for the American and European versions of the game, we hope to let you know right here on Saiyan Island! For now, all we can do is enjoy video of them thanks to AnimeGamesOnline!
It’s worth indicating Vegeta’s movie costume DOES NOT have the Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan wig that Goku’s has. Vegeta’s movie costume is comprised of upper body, lower body, hand, and feet equipment only.
