Dragon Ball Xenoverse DLC Pack 3 June 9th Release Announced

Bandai Namco Entertainment Japan has announced the long awaited Dragon Ball Xenoverse DLC Pack 3 will be making its way to players on Tuesday, June 9th. While this announcement is made by the Japanese branch of the company, Saiyan Island expects North America and Europe will receive it around the same time frame, if not the same day. Of course, if a different date is announced by the American or European branches, we will be sure to update you.

The reason for the long wait, Bandai Namco mentions, is they want to provide players with a better quality experience. They did note if there are any changes or additional updates in regards to DLC Pack 3, they would let us know at a later time. For now, we should be expecting the following

  • 4 Playable Characters: Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku, Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegeta, Golden Frieza and Jaco the Galactic Patroller
  • 5 Parallel Quests
  • 2 Masters: Jaco the Galactic Patroller & Elder Kai
  • 8 Masters Quests
  • 14 Moves (view some of them here)
  • 2 Costumes: Turtle Hermit & Gohan’s Tracksuit
  • 2 New Accessories: Tagoma’s Scouter & Turtle Hermit set
  • 7 Z-Souls

While we wait for DLC Pack 3, there will be promotional campaigns to earn a higher score or zeni starting later this week.

Score Bonus Campaign
From Thursday, May 21 to Wednesday, May 27 players will be able to earn 25% more points for their created character by playing parallel quests. For example if you were to earn 10,000 points for a parallel quest normally, during that week you can earn 12,500. For those who may not remember, score is used to level up your character so if you’re already at level 85, it may not be of any advantage to you. Bandai Namco notes the quest score will not affect the ranking grade.

Zeni Bonus Campaign
From Thursday, May 28 to Wednesday, June 3, players will be able to earn 25% more zeni. For example if you were to earn 10,000 zeni for a parallel quest normally, during that week you can earn 12,500. Zeni is the currency in Dragon Ball Xenoverse that allows for the purchase of items, clothing, attacks, and accessories.
