Dragon Ball Super, the highly anticipated sequel to the legendary Dragon Ball Z series made its debut in Japan on July 5, 2015. Many fans wondered when the latest adventures of Son Goku and company would head over to the West with the English dub we know and love. The answer to that is still a mystery, however, there are signs that point to an announcement possibly coming soon! On October 8 at the 2015 New York Comic Con, FUNimation will hold a panel – Dragon Ball Z (and Beyond) – where they will discuss Dragon Ball Z, the history of the television series, its current theatrical success, and Dragon Ball Super!
FUNimation’s Senior Manager of Social Strategy and Development, Justin Rojas, will be speaking at the event along with Dragon Ball Z voice actors Sean Schemmel (Goku/King Kai) and Christopher R. Sabat (Vegeta/Piccolo). If any exciting news comes out of the event in regards to Dragon Ball Super, English dub or even an official English sub, we hope to let you know right here on Saiyan Island!
