Bleach Manga Ending is Near, Only a Few More Chapters Left

First Naruto and now Bleach, the ending is near. Back in 2013, it was announced that the Bleach manga was starting its final act. Shuiesha’s Weekly Shonen Jump has today announced the final act will soon be coming to a close as volume 74 of the manga will be its final one.

Volume 73 was just released today in Japan. So far, 680 chapters have been released in the Bleach manga series. 674 was the last chapter to be included in volume 73 and each volume has 10-11 chapters. That means there are a maximum of 5 chapters left. Based on that, we deduce August 8 is when the final chapter will be released. Of course, Saiyan Island hopes to have concrete details as soon as they are announced.

Bleach, created by manga artist Tite Kubo, first launched in Shuiesha’s Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine back in 2001. Since then, there have been an anime, movies, light novels, video games, card games, and musicals.

No word has been announced in regards to the revival of the Bleach anime. The last episode aired on March 27, 2012.
