The Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 closed beta is now available to everyone who digitally pre-ordered on the PlayStation 4. The beta includes character creation, the large hub world known as Conton City, story missions, a VS Mode, Parallel Quests, and Expert Missions. Take a look at gameplay from the closed beta below.
The Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 closed beta went live on October 8, 2016 at 1 AM PST. The closed beta will last until October 10 at 1 AM PST, when the servers will be deactivated. If you ordered the Xbox One version (physical/digital), PC/Steam, or physical version of the game on PS4, there will be no closed beta for you. Players will be able transfer their Dragon Ball Xenoverse 1 save data to the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 beta.
There will also be an open beta for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 from October 14, 2016 at 1 AM PST to October 16, 2016 at 1 AM PST. As far as we know, this will also be exclusive to PlayStation 4 users. Of course, if we hear something different, we’ll let you know right here on Saiyan Island! The difference between the open and closed beta is the open beta will be availible to all PlayStation 4 users, regardless of if they have pre-ordered Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 or not.
