Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2: On Pace to Surpass Xenoverse 1

Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has surpassed 1.4 million copies of shipments worldwide. The game launched in Japan just this week on November 2 and last week in the Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Australasia.

The game is on pace to surpass its predecessor, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 1, which has shipped over 3.13 million copies as of February of this year and took almost a month to reach the 1.5 million mark worldwide. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available only on PS4, Xbox One, and PC while the original game was developed on previous gen (PS3/Xbox 360) and current gen (PS4/Xbox One/PC) platforms.

Congratulations to Bandai Namco and Dimps on another successful Dragon Ball venture and to all fans supporting their latest work! The future is bright for Dragon Ball, who knows what 2017/2018 will bring – Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, maybe?
