    Lame as someone would say

Dead at the same time. What an amazing 1-2 combo

  • Konjiki no Yami

Yami-chan have completely understand why they didn’t make new movesets, new characters for this RTB , because they are trying to hide information for Boruto anime series upcoming as much as possible.

  • ….All the possible moveset should be based off the things we see in the movie itself.

  • Red Hood ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ ᵃᶜᶜᵒᵘᶰᵗ

Yeah that’s not it at all. How would they be hiding information that they don’t have? They just didnt want to go through the trouble of making new characters for a dying game

  • Pretty Much Another ©unt

    This ^

  • Ahtma ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ ᵃᶜᶜᵒᵘᶰᵗ

Yeah, I understand why they’re doing it like this. The people who have opinions of Storm 4 will likely keep those opinions regardless of what else CC2 has to offer for them.

  • Why bother with an expansion if they are just going to do things half way? The answer is basically BNE cutting funding or giving them less money than needed.

  • Ahtma ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ ᵃᶜᶜᵒᵘᶰᵗ

Because there were still people asking for it and CC2 is still oriented towards their fans more than anything else. I’d prefer a halfway expansion than none at all, because now at least I can play as Mitsuki.

  • No dude, if you are going to expand on something you go FULL IN. Do not half @$$ it. Either go in full or do not bother making anything. People were okay with how Storm 4 ended(some complained). It would have been better for them to just save development cost and start on a brand new Naruto game franchise a year or two down the line(especially since the anime is going to continue on to the Boruto stuff like I told most of you all when the Boruto manga first was announced).

  • Ahtma ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ ᵃᶜᶜᵒᵘᶰᵗ

What happened was BNE likely told them do one more expansion, and said they have a fixed amount of time to make it. For everything that RtB will have, to get it all done in a year is pretty impressive, considering we have four new (or in Sasuke’s case, mostly new) playable characters, and a cinematic campaign, considering it took CC2 five years (around six months per individual boss fight) to make Asura’s Wrath.

  • Yeah, but how many Naruto and Sasuke’s does this make?
The only new playable character from this expansion is Mitsuki. That’s it. That is all the expansion we get. CC2 should have just said no. It’s not like there is any other developer that can make a Storm expansion in that timeframe. CC2 should have said “No, unless you give us time to make this expansion the best it can be”. But instead CC2 saw the money and took it.

It’s the same with Yooka Laylee situation. Last week they gave an excuse that the WII U version had “problems for months”. The thing is they never mentioned this problem at any point until last week. That goes to show that I bet it was the fault of the publisher of the game. Not sure who it was but I bet they don’t have a good history with releasing software on Nintendo consoles.

Okay back to CC2. If they are as passionate about Naruto then they know that us fans would have expected AT THE VERY LEAST the Momoshiki(Kinshiki absorbed) as a playable character. Since you know Storm games have both protagonists AND antagonists. That is like making a Naruto game without the villains in it. That is what led Takara Tomy to be bankrupt because they left out Pain.

  • Ahtma ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ ᵃᶜᶜᵒᵘᶰᵗ

Takara Tomy is still a functioning company today, dunno where you’re saying they became bankrupt. Also, when your entire studio relies on making content like this in order to make a living, your hands are pretty much tied. No amount of attachment to a Japanese cartoon series should override your willingness to make money for yourself/your family. You can still like the things you work on, but ultimately it’s still things you have to work on regardless.

You constantly play from the angle that feels make reals, which is absolutely not true. You consistently fail to understand that game development is an industry, and while many people are a part of it because it’s something they’re passionate about, they’re also apart of it because they’re in it to turn a passion into profit. It was also likely not CC2’s choice to turn down the company that is basically the only reason why they’re still around today.

  • Not against a Raikage Darui Costume.

  • And the thing is that if they can’t express their passions fully then they will lose the trust of the fan base THAT PAYS THE PUBLISHERS THE MONEY FOR THIS EXPANSION. They SHOULD be concern and CC2 does have other methods of gaining a publisher if things go bad for them. Because at the end of the day most fans know that BNE is at fault for this. So basically the sales for the expansion will be less than what the Storm 4 game has. If you can’t follow your passion regardless of profit then you don’t have passion at all.

Making money is a need but betraying your fans is a sin. Especially fans that have supported the company(both BNE and CC2) for over a decade.

This so called “expansion” is just the start of the trend that will ultimately doomed the publisher and developer.

  • Ahtma ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ ᵃᶜᶜᵒᵘᶰᵗ

At what point has CC2 “betrayed” their fans? They’re one of the most fan-oriented game developers I can think of, who consistently show that they’re listening to the fanbase at large, and they’re the only game developer I know of that have an official suggestion page for their games. Go take a look at the one other licensed series they’ve done for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, both All-Star Battle is a love letter to the source material and Eyes of Heaven is some of the best fan service (not the typical boobs/ass sort of thing either) I’ve ever seen from a game period.

“If you can’t follow your passion regardless of profit then you don’t have passion at all.”

You’re 33 and work at Wal Mart for a living. This means nothing coming from you.

  • They have when they started cutting back. It all starts with not giving us the option to play as certain characters. Then it goes from there. Making us pay more and more for less. Think about it dude. Normally a 20 dollar expansion as more content then what it is offered to us here. It all starts with less things for more. It happened 30 years ago and it is starting to happen again.

You might think me being 33 and work at Wal Mart means nothing but anyone can find passion in anything that they do. You or anyone else can say what is or isn’t meaningless.

If BNE/CC2 doesn’t stop doing what they are doing right now they are going to fall big time. I have been right on things like this before Ahtma.

This is the last time I will say this so just remember this when you go about your daily life.

“Always have passion in everything you do because if you lose it then you risk losing everything”

Take care, I have to get ready for when Shantae Half Genie Hero drops on the E-shop.

“I have been right on things like this before Ahtma.”

Please, do elaborate on how you predicted the North American video game crash of 1983 despite you having been born the year that it happened outside of the country it occurred in. You know nothing about what you think you’re talking about, when the crash happened video games were already declining as an entertainment medium, in the modern day video games are one of the most popular (arguably the most popular but that’s subjective) forms of entertainment, and the fact remains that the fastest-selling entertainment product in history was GTA V.

  • God Arale

This Dlc is looking pretty okay. except for story mode that is.

  • God Arale

I’m thinking of it, CC2 said that they needed to make drastic decisions. why put story mode over characters? :[

  • KGSG JLigerbomb

Yes he does , and it legal to use Liger perod

  • WrenoYami

Does anybody actually care about Mecha Naruto?

  • GadgetBuster

Of all the characters for CC2 to put in the storm 4 roster they put in robot Naruto. I mean come on really now, I love the fight between the me and the cloud bros, and the seven ninja swordsmen and if the swordsmen do get in the game, give them an ultimate like the akatsuki were all 10 team up. I mean cant you, lets say, do a challenge mode, beat it without losing or something and get special ninja.

  • GadgetBuster

I love the edo kages my favorite was the mist edo kage cause he uses a long range chakra nature ninjutsu ability like temari.

  • Hagareno

I will buy it if it comes with PS4 pro graphic enhancements.

  • Eruza Sukāretto – エルザ スカーレット

    When does this come out?
