Boruto: Naruto the Movie English Dub Trailer

Viz Media, the company behind Naruto in North America, has announced Boruto: Naruto the Movie is making its way to retailers with the English dub on March 28, 2017! The movie will be available as a Blu-ray and DVD combo pack in the US with an MSRP of $29.98. Currently only the English dub has been announced, but its expected the Japanese dub with English subtitles will be available as well. The lead character, Boruto Uzumaki, will be voiced by voice actress Amanda Celine Miller on English. Maile Flanagan, who voiced Naruto in the Naruto and Naruto Shippuden animes, will reprise her role and voice Naruto as Hokage. Boruto Naruto the Movie takes place in the Hidden Leaf Village with Naruto as the Seventh Hokage. The Hidden Leaf Village is planning to host the Chunin Exams to train new shinobi from the village and from their allied villages. Among the entrants are Sasuke’s daughter, Sarada, Mitsuki, an exceptionally talented yet mysterious shinobi… And Boruto, Naruto’s talented but impetuous son.

Meanwhile, Sasuke who’s been on a mission in another dimension appears before Naruto to warn of a strange impending danger. Shrouded with an evil aura, Momoshiki and Kinshiki appear and attempt to assassinate Naruto. Petrified, Boruto is shielded by Naruto, only to disappear in front of Boruto’s own eyes.
