The Boruto anime, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, is making its way to Japanese airwaves on April 5, 2017. The up-coming issue of Shuiesha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has announced the opening and ending theme for the new series.
The opening, titled “Baton Road”, will be performed by Japanese band KANA-BOON. Naruto fans are very familiar with KANA-BOON as they are the very same group handpicked by Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto to perform the official theme song (“Driver”) for Boruto: Naruto the Movie. KANA-BOON has also performed Naruto Shippuden Opening 16 (“Silhouette”) and the opening for the video game Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 (“Spiral”).
The ending, titled “Dreamy Journey”, will be performed by The Peggies, a Japanese girl group. This will be the first time they have lent their talents to a Naruto-related series.
More information for Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is expected in the coming weeks and we at Saiyan Island hope to have it for you right here! For now, take a look at the scan announcing the opening and ending for Boruto: Naruto Next Generations along with KANA-BOON’s past Naruto works.
