Naruto Shippuden: Leaf Story to Conclude with Episode 500

Posted on March 2, 2017

Ninjas far and wide are looking to get the perfect gift for Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuga’s wedding in the Naruto Shippuden: Hidden Leaf Village story arc. From locales like Shikamaru and Sakura to the likes of those from other villages such as Gaara and Killer Bee. It was previously unknown how many episodes this arc would be, but with a brand new scan from Shuiseha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, it has been revealed there will be 7 total. The final episode will be number 500 in the Naruto Shippuden series and it will air on March 23, 2017. If including Naruto part 1, this would be episode 720.

There is a new Naruto-related series beginning on April 5, 2017 titled BORUTO: Naruto Next Generations. It will follow Naruto’s son, Boruto, on his adventures in the ninja world. Even with the announcement of the new series, nothing has been announced in terms of the fate of Naruto Shippuden. At this point in time it’s unknown if the series will continue or if it will conclude with episode 500. Saiyan Island hopes to have additional information as soon as the news breaks.
