Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is coming to the Nintendo Switch this Fall 2017, worldwide, and will contain motion controls. The depth of the those motion controls is currently unknown, but Bandai Namco Entertainment has released the first two screenshots to give us a small preview. In the skills list at the right hand corner of each screenshot, it can be seen how players can perform the Super Kamehameha. These controls may look familiar to those that have played Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and 3 for the Nintendo Wii. Like the Wii games, in Xenoverse 2 for Switch, players basically bring their hands backwards and thrust forward, which is also similar to Goku in the Dragon Ball series.
For those that aren’t into motion controls, the Nintendo Switch version will allow players to play without them using a single JoyCon controller.
It hasn’t been announced yet if Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for the Nintendo Switch will have all of the same DLC as the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions at this point in time, but it will have an extra – the complete story mode, featuring Demigra, included from Dragon Ball Xenoverse 1. Also up to six people can play together in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for the Nintendo Switch ad-hoc and those who purchase the game in Japan on day 1 will be able to unlock more than 70 characters from the start of the game. Saiyan Island hopes to have additional details on Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for the Nintendo Switch as soon as it’s announced.
