The Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime began just last month on April 5, 2017. Being the titular character, Boruto has been the focus of the anime thus far. Things may soon change slightly as Boruto’s future teammate, Sarada Uchiha, will be getting some of the spotlight soon in anime form.
A new scan reveals the Uchiha family will get more attention in anime fashion, specifically Sasuke, Sarada, and Sakura’s relationship. Further, the scan mentions Sarada’s red glasses.
Although not specifically mentioned, it seems the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime will cover Masashi Kishimoto’s 2015 Naruto manga sequel, Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring. The manga took place before the events of Boruto: Naruto the movie, delved into the relationship of Sasuke, Sarada, and Sakura and also addresses the origins of Sarada’s red glasses.
No date on when the anime will tell the manga’s story has been announced at this point in time. However, our belief is as the academy graduation nears in the Boruto anime, that is when we will get the Uchiha family relationship episodes since that is the same timeframe which the manga took place – before Sarada, Boruto, and company became genin. As more information is revealed, we hope to let you know right here on Saiyan Island!
