One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition to PS4 and Nintendo Switch

One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition is heading to the PS4 and Nintendo Switch on August 24, 2017 in Japan for 4,800 yen (around $42 USD). The news comes from the up-coming issue 24 of Shuiesha’s 2017 edition of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The game was originally released under the title “One Piece: Unlimited World Red” in 2013 for the Nintendo 3DS and then re-released in 2014 for Wii U, PS3, and PS Vita in 2014. This 2017 version of the game will support 2-player offline co-op (like before) and boasts enhanced graphics and all the downloadable content from the prior release.

A release for the game on PS4 and Switch in the US and Europe has not been announced at this point in time, but is expected.

One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition is an action/adventure RPG developed by Ganbarion, with an original story that will take players through the Straw Hat Crew’s adventures on the Forgotten Island as they try to reunite with their kidnapped crew members, battle fearsome enemies, bosses, and come face to face with the Red Count; a frighteningly powerful pirate who escaped the lower depths of Impel Down, the infamous underwater maximum-security prison for the most dangerous criminals and pirates.
