Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker – Early 2018 Release Date, New Trailer 2

Expert ninja are gathered in a new battlefield as the battle goes online with NARUTO to BORUTO: SHINOBI STRIKER! A new trailer, which is trailer 2, for the game has been released online, from the 2017 anime convention being held currently in Los Angeles, CA (USA) called Anime Expo. There, it was announced Bandai Namco Entertainment and Soleil Ltd’s game will make its way to PS4, Xbox One, and PC/Steam in early 2018. A specific release date has not yet been announced.

The trailer doesn’t reveal anything shocking in terms of new information as you may have already read most of it here on Saiyan Island, but instead shows what we know thus far in an organized video format with footage from the game. The trailer touts large 3D stages, acrobatic ninja battle action, 4 different types of ninja, various ninjutsu and simultaneous online battles with 8 ninja of four man teams.

The trailer mentions the main mode is called BATTLE. Under the main mode is Barrier Battle, which is battle between attack and dense forces. In it, players unlock the seal pile to defeat the enemy boss character! Then there is Flag Battle where ninja engage in fierce battles over a flag where players must capture the flag from the enemy’s territory to claim victory.

The sub-mode titled “MISSION” is also highlighted and is described to be where players cooperate with friends to complete missions of escort, extermination, and subjugation.

The four character types are also featured in the video. Attack type characters like Naruto, Kakashi, and Pain have high attack power and speed. Ranged type characters like Sasuke, Itachi, and Konan are good at long-distance attacks. Defense types like Kisame are perfect to reinforce the team’s defense while healing type characters like Sakura not only heal themselves, but also others.

Each will have more than one jutsu, but in the video, they are shown launching just one of their signature jutsu. Naruto is shown using Rasengan in the video while Kakashi uses Lightning Blade, Pain uses Almighty Push, Sasuke fires a Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu, Itachi uses Amaterasu, Konan is armed with Shinkigami Dance: Shield, and Kisame launches Water Style: Shark Bomb in the video. The only exception is Sakura, who shows off two of her jutsu – Cherry Blossom Clash and Mystical Palm Technique.

The first trailer for the game was released back on April 6, 2017. You can take a look at it below.
