One Piece: Unlimited World Red – September 29 Switch Release

Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced the release date for One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition on the Nintendo Switch – Friday, September 29, 2017. Players will be able to play this One Piece adventure at home in TV mode in 1080p and on the go in handheld and tabletop mode in 720p.One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition on the Nintendo Switch will have a Japanese voice track with English subtitles.

The game will also be available on PC and PS4 on August 25. Those who have a PC that can support it or a PS4 Pro can enjoy One Piece: Unlimited World Red in 4K

One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC is the definitive version of the game that will have over 40 pieces of content that was DLC in the original versions of the game. One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition was originally released under the title “One Piece: Unlimited World Red” in 2013 for the Nintendo 3DS and then re-released in 2014 for Wii U, PS3, and PS Vita.

Like the previous versions, the Deluxe Edition will feature 2-player co-op and the same, original story which takes players through the Straw Hat Crew’s adventures on the Forgotten Island as they try to reunite with their kidnapped crew members, battle fearsome enemies, bosses, and come face to face with the Red Count; a frighteningly powerful pirate who escaped the lower depths of Impel Down, the infamous underwater maximum-security prison for the most dangerous criminals and pirates.

The US versions of One Piece: Unlimited World Red will digital-only on all platforms, while in Europe the PS4 and Switch editions of the game will also be available as physical versions. In Japan, One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe will be available for PS4 and the Nintendo Switch both physically and digitally on August 24, 2017. Take a look at the trailer below.
