Attack on Titan 2: New Video Game Coming Early 2018

Early 2018 is going to be exciting for fans of anime games! We have Dragon Ball FighterZ, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, and now Attack on Titan 2! The news comes from video game publisher Koei Tecmo who announced the sequel to the 2016 PS4, Xbox One, and PC/Steam title, Attack on Titan, earlier today. The game is in development by Omega Force, like the first game, however, the list of consoles has not yet been announced. Instead, Koei Tecmo has stated platforms will be unveiled in the coming weeks along with more information about the game’s release and narrative.

Attack on Titan 2 will be released worldwide and will build upon the fast-paced action the series is famous for, and featuring an abundance of new gameplay mechanics. Players will once again don the renowned Omni-Directional Maneuver Gear as they fight and repel the fearsome Titans that threaten humanity, to restore peace within the walls. The game will be titled A.O.T.2 in Europe and Attack on Titan 2 in the Americas. Take a look at the first trailer of the game below, featuring scenes from the anime/manga in 3D video game style!
