I guess an anime adaptation of Akatsuki Hiden is just a lost hope, not even an english release.

  • darkness

I wish that they would do an anime adaptation of Mitsuki’s story

  • Darth Ji’inx

Sounds like they are moving Naruto Chapter 700 in the timeline, placing it after the Gaiden story. Looks like we’re getting another new Boruto story before they get into the movie timeline.

  • Darth Ji’inx

Unless they do a flashback episode, I don’t think it would work out in the current place the story’s at in the timeline.

  • Christopher Cannon Jr.

Pfft, of course Denki gets kidnapped.

  • Paul Watson

lol They Alluded To It During The First Arc.

  • hankosanko

shin reminds me of the bleach espada Zommari Rureaux, the one that got defeated by Byakuya Kuchiki

  • Darth Ji’inx

Alluded to it, but they still didn’t show it.

  • Paul Watson

Yeah They Might Be Waiting For A Later Time In The Future.

  • Di

filler + filler + filler, is like they dont wanna go past the whole movie thing

  • Darth Ji’inx

I could definitely see it if they did a Mitsuki arc in the future.

  • ShadowC0N

I remember reading someone’s comment that said the writers wanted to create their own story with Boruto (I guess before the movie/game/manga events happen. I know people are going to complain, but if these arcs are so bad, I say wait until the movie arc starts lol. I will be watching though. Some of these arcs are interesting to me, and ultimately, they are going to get to how Mitsuki, Sarada, and Boruto act as a team. I’m also interested in seeing what happens to the other students in Boruto’s class (if they focus on that) because SPOILER

they aren’t in the manga or movie at all.
    Well, besides Naruto’s friends’ kids.

  • ShadowC0N

Since it hasn’t been discussed yet publicly (I don’t think it has), it may just do that; skip over that arc. But this is also a show based on the manga/movie, which are both canon. So, they may still cover it. I mean, even Dragon Ball Super did that. Had the two last movies and then the anime, and then the manga cover the same material

  • ayami

well super completely changed the first movie and made the frieza 1 suck compared to the movie. id rather they skip through most of the movie and show maybe the ending . or go into a hey me and dad are good now and show a brief flashback of the momoshiki fight and the part we havent seen animated. thats all id be interested in. the rest can be skipped and show some diff content that wasnt shown in the manga. well something different. some naruto boruto time or something xd

  • ayami

i was thinking they were gonna skip it tbh. but now im happy they are gonna show boruto painting all the faces xd. I wonder when boruto will get his movie outfit im bored of his current look. sarada has hers now its time for his.

  • ayami

maybe they plan to do later on. like maybe the kids start questioning more about mitsuki. so he decides to start telling his story and then it go into the manga chap on him. i didnt really read his story i just couldnt get it in the manga. so i hope its animated. some chapters i cant follow im more into seeing actual animation done.

  • ShadowC0N

That may not be good lol. They’ve been building up to the events of the movie already. By showing Momo already and the other guy. They even seemed to show the other one from The Last, talking about Boruto’s eye. I wouldn’t get my hopes up for them to skip. Because even if they did, Naruto has been known for doing flashbacks over the course of multiple eps lol

  • ayami

Figures. i hope its better than what the description shows lol. I wish Naruto would follow them to the hidden mist be nice for a kage meet up with him and chojuro.

Resurrection F was already not a good movie. If they do an anime version of the Boruto movie I wonder if they’re gonna go with Ikemoto’s design for Momoshiki after he eats Kinshiki’s chakra as opposed to Kishimoto’s. If they do that I’d be down with it, Momoshiki makes a cool Japanese demon but also Ikemoto’s design looks like the last boss in a Final Fantasy game.

  • Ahtma ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ ᴴᴱˢᴴ

They’re not gonna skip it. They’re going to try and pad out for as long as they can before they start hitting the manga/movie territory so the manga can get as far ahead as possible.

  • ayami

i think i can handle flashbacks as long as they dont last long in the ep. it be stupid to redo the entire movie. it was good but the first half isnt worth remaking for the anime. maybe if they do the chunin exams and properly show the kids fights except just mainly borutos. i would be fine with that. since it would be new material we didnt see in the movie.

  • ShadowC0N

Oh, I believe they’ll show the other fights. But I’m still not getting my hopes up about the flashbacks. They’ll probably take up ep after ep (including the other fights). But I feel like the events now will help us appreciate the movie events. Well, some of us lol. Like i said, they’ve already been building up to it. So I think it would he dumb to just skip ahead to a time when Naruto and his child are all friendly and cool

  • Yomi

What’s up with derp Boruto in the thumbnail.

  • Yomi

When the second half of the Tournament begins during that special, this wait will be a thing of the past.

  • 7610

The thing is that they have to think of anime only viewers that didn’t saw the movie. The Momoshiki arc (or movie arc if you prefer) is a core part of the Boruto storyline, a big step in Boruto’s developpement. Skipping it would be too confusing for the part of the audience that didn’t see previous versions of it. Besides, the guy that was in charge of the movie and who is now in charge of the anime said he wanted to develop more Momoshiki and Kinshiki but couldn’t in the movie. If he manages to flesh out these two characters more, I think it’d be worth it.

  • Konohamaru says that line as Boruto and Sarada go on a mission together

  • Yomi

No, I mean the thumbnail to this article.

  • CommunistMario3

They’re already meeting in the Kage Summit.

  • Strider Xanthos

Oh cool. We haven’t had an arc about the Hidden Mist in a while, so this’ll be interesting.

  • Shogunreaper

Why would they do that? It’s a ready made story they can adapt.

Plus they’ve already been changing and retconning things from the movie. And it was far too rushed anyway.

  • Shogunreaper

I’m really getting tired of Denki.

    he’s the new sakura.

  • Aizen Sousuke

Episode 24 sounds like the last chapter of naruto 😮 i might have to catch up for it
