  • Yomi

    That first description thoe.

  • AnonymousNaruto2000

Sukea? So it seems we’ll get more disguised Kakashi shenanigans then!
Also, nice to see that they’re graduating soon. 🙂

  • SM

So filler until Graduation then in about a month from now smh

  • Bennet Jackson

Yeah that mean we’ll see kakashi face again in disguise.

  • Navok76

one of the reason why i dislike this anime (beside the stupid plot) is Chocho, she is cringeworthy, i hope Sarada chidori her one day.

  • Nagatem, Triangle Sama SI God

Honestly I just want sanji to marry pudding for real

  • Navok76

Obito was kinda a badass villain, but turning to a villain just because his bae died is very stupid thing, he could have suicided or killed Kakashi for revenge

  • MrChievious

Yay, we get to see Kakashi again!

  • Anthony_weaver86

He started off good but during the war he became pretty stupid, and him being Obito was pure retarded

  • 7610

the good thing: the graduation is coming so this academy arc will finally end. Episode 35 looks like it may be a bit interesting.

  • Navok76

True, he was saying the whole arc “you made my bae die”. i prefer if obito’s best friend was a boy and kakashi killed him, at least that will be more reasonable to be a villain

  • nice, kakashi, also, AHHH that dies irae episode cliffhanger was lit this week! As a VN fan im glad I stuck with this anime and didnt drop it cause I wasn’t spoon fed off the bat.

  • Anthony_weaver86

Or better yet him not being Obito or him literally being brainwashed and later when he does remember he became to corrupted

  • dbz

    im on boruto episode 14

  • Yomi

    Exciting plot.

  • That doesn’t sound too bad. The story isn’t bad as is. But it always had a certain pettiness to it (on Obito’s behalf). He’s got a right to be upset, but rewrite the world upset? Not too cool. Then again, this is a magic world where some mighty puddy can save you from having half of your body crushed beyond recognition… Meh… I don’t know… Obito’s was just too easy of a twist. We’re actually surprised it was him, because we’re positive the plot wouldn’t be that simple and foreseeable! Then we got some floating scrub out of nowhere… Great.

  • I’m just waiting to see Mirai Sarutobi in action. That’s like it…

  • AsurasPath22

Still better than whatever asspull DBS will pull out of Caulifla next.

  • Anthony_weaver86

Not really surprised cause let’s be real tge moment ppl.first seen Tobi they said, tha5s Obito some ppl who said it wasn’t even knew it was secretly

  • Sora-chan

Whole cake island arc is bad, really bad in many ways.

  • Sora-chan

Aaahhh more Himawari pls she is cutest thing.

  • Ahtma

Do you come here for the specific purpose of ranting about DBS even when it’s not prompted? I just scrolled through like two weeks of your recent comments and at least 70% of it is related to voicing your displeasure with Super. If you hate the show so much why keep watching it?

  • PurexedSolitude;

It must serve to keep him young.

  • Yomi

    Recent? you mean 2 years?

  • Christopher Cannon Jr.

Much like Super started out, it’s gonna be a long time until something important actually happens again.

Now I’m off to check the DBS schedule and see what’s pissing everyone off, hopefully it’s not too bad.

  • Navok76

Do you know that naruto anime wouldn’t be a thing if Rin didn’t die?

  • Navok76

Or Madara being the only villain for the NWW4, anyways Obito died as an adult and that’s a good thing

  • Anthony_weaver86

Madara should have been the only villian seeing as in part one they hinted he was tge most powerful l, and the one opposing the 1st. And the hyuga clan should have gotten a buff with their eyes 8nstead of what Tornei got

  • KDG

If it happens in Dragon Ball Super, it will almost always be hated by the masses. I’m pretty sure they could do everything right and there would still be an issue with “fans.”

  • Leo LeiGto

Lol. No way. If they did it right it be great. Like the new movies. they are awesome. Boruto however is an even greater disappointment than DBS. The show is 100% filler. huehuehue

  • Leo LeiGto

lol i disagree. DBS is pretty dang bad. But Boruto is like SS and DBS is like kaioken. They both are bad but Boruto wins by brute force. lel

  • KDG

That’s likely what influenced the author’s decision to make Tobi Obito. I don’t believe that was his original intention from the beginning.

  • KDG

Not necessarily. Madara And Zetsu were pulling the strings from the background the entire time. Rin’s death was secretly orchestrated by Madara in order to coerce Obito into joining his cause and doing his bidding. If not Obito and Rin, they simply would have used someone else.

  • Anthony_weaver86

I believe it was if I’m not mistaken in a interview he said he wanted to play around the identity of Tobi as a joke for the fans to argue as to who he really is. I domt have comcrete evidence on this I’m just going by what I read in the past

  • KDG

Even if what you read in the past is accurate, that means he most likely hadn’t decided yet on who Tobi secretly was. Chances are that stupid theory became so wide-spread and believed by so many that he just decided screw it, he could use Obito as fan service and save himself the effort of fleshing out another character.

  • Anthony_weaver86

If you think about it the whole Kakashi Gaiden book happen right at the end of part one of Naruto, showing off who Obito was and how he died. Not to mention there were flash images in part one of Obito, and while the retarded theories of Zetsu reconstructing h8s body was completely stupid and made no freaked sense the series it self started to become more retarded as it went. Like Itachi being a double agent and killing his own clan for the better good for the leaf (retarded) the 3rd Hokage letting one of his ppl die (Neji’s dad) for the sake of peace, retarded. And so on and so forth. I’m not trying to put it down I’m just pointing out how stupid it was that it was good

  • KDG

Itachi being a double agent actually made sense to me. When you witness any of his previous battles before his final fight with Sasuke, you can clearly see he is a pacifist. He primarily relies on genjutsu to subdue his enemies rather than physical attacks or violent ninjutsu. That doesn’t seem like a trait a bloodthirsty villain who viciously slaughtered his entire clan simply to test his own abilities would have. Also, with his skill and arsenal of jutsu, he shouldn’t have had much of a problem killing Kakashi during their first encounter.

The Kakashi Gaiden was great for revealing Kakashi’s backstory, showing how he obtained his Sharingan and his notorious reputation as the Copy Ninja, as well as shed some light on why he values team work and camaraderie. I never took it as a sign that Tobi was secretly Obito when we literally watched him die. Rin even said he was dead, and she was a medical ninja. Not to mention the weight of a boulder that could crush an entire half of Obito’s body should have easily crushed that soft, squishy eye of his under it. Tobi turning out to be Obito really just felt like Kishimoto taking the easy way out by using a fan theory instead of creating a new character for Tobi.

  • Anthony_weaver86

Him being a double agent was clear but the whole (I killed my clan for the leaf) bit was idiotic.

Obito being Tobi was pretty clear seeing as Obito was a reflection of Naruto, if he became evil. It’s like Marvel and DC making a villian like the hero.

And while I do agree with you about his death being the end of him, seeing as he had a half of a crushed brain, heart, lungs and ect Kishi made one statement that are it pretty clear that Tobi was Obito. And that’s is when he said Naruto was inspired by Star wars, the same goddamnn movie that half of anime worshipped, and no matter how many times ypu be cut or thrown in lava your still alive

  • Christopher Cannon Jr.

Oh yeah, it’s always going to be a mixed bag with both shows.

  • Navok76

I don’t really think that Zetsu is the underboss because Masashi said in an interview that he made zetsu kill madara because he didn’t find a way to finish madara, it’s just a plot twist

  • KDG

That doesn’t really have anything to do with my comment, but yes, I’m aware of that.

  • Navok76

I am pointing that masashi himself made all of these things happen, not zetsu or madara

  • Chaotix

Unless they’re doing a bait and switch; they’re going to make us believe they’re going to graduate, and then last second all the characters fail causing 5 more arcs of filler.

  • Chaotix

Don’t expect much canon then either, the Boruto manga is monthly and so far, only 7 of the chapters are completely new content, the other 10 being a manga adaptation of the Boruto movie. So even if they graduate, there’ll likely be more filler, then they’ll probably adapt the film into the anime, then even more filler.

  • 7610

Yeah true, it’s Studio Pierrot after all. Though the anime content is canon so it’s not really filler.

  • Ochaco Uraraka

Oh boy… this is gonna be a long month.

  • Chaotix

With this it’s harder to discuss what canon is. There is a manga that it’s supposed to be adapting and as of yet it hasn’t done any of it, apart from the first scene from episode 1. Sarada Gaiden is the only thing that’d be considered canon with anything else, but even that isn’t from the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga, so some people don’t consider that canon. But then at the same time, some people say the manga isn’t canon because it’s not done by Kishimoto. So saying it’s canon isn’t necessarily easy to actually say in this scenario.

  • Sasori

facts, need December 6 to come quick

  • 7610

Kishimoto supervises the manga so it’s definetly canon, people that say otherwise are misinformed. The writer of the manga, Kodachi, also supervises the scenario of the anime. The Kiri village arc has been mentionned in the recent chapters of the manga, proving it is part of the same continuity. The manga covers what happens after the movie while the anime fills the gap between Gaiden and the movie and brings more build up to the Momoshiki/Ôtsutsuki plot.

  • Meliodas

So episod 35 of Boruto = episod 1 of Naruto in their respective life story. Thing will finally be more focus on ninja thing with new serious enemy
