Bandai Namco Entertainment America has announced the price for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2: DLC Pack 5 & 6, which are being officially called Extra Pack 1 and Extra Pack 2. Individually, each DLC Pack will be priced at $9.99. If you purchase them both together as a bundle, the price will be $16.99 for both. The official release date for DLC Pack 5 is currently being advertised as the end of November 2017. Although a specific date has not been given for DLC 5, based on the releases of the first four DLC, it will most likely be Tuesday, November 28. As for DLC 6, it will be released sometime in either February or March 2018. A specific release date will be announced at a later time. DLC Pack 5 contains the following:
- 4 New Playable Characters – Dabura, Buu (Gohan Absorbed), Android 13, and Tapion
- 2 New Costumes – Toppo and Ribrianne
- 1 New Master – Zamasu
- 5 New Parallel Quests
- 13 New Attacks
- 8 New Super Souls
- 2 New Nicknames
Confirmed Content for DLC Pack 6 is as follows:
- 4 New Playable Characters (one of which may be Ultra Instinct Goku)
- A New Story
In addition to the paid DLC, there will be free DLC as well. The free DLC is in the form of a new mode called Hero Colosseum Mode! This is a Dragon Ball Heroes-style mode that will have its own story. You can see gameplay and the trailer for the mode below. A release date has not yet been announced for this mode, but it will most likely be around the release of DLC Pack 5, if not the same exact date. All DLC will be available on all platforms – PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch.
