Dragon Ball Super Episode 118 – Accelerated Tragedy Vanishing Universes…
Goku battles against Zirloin, Zarbuto, and Rabanra from Universe 2, while Gohan and Piccolo are fighting against Saonel and Pirina. Saonel and Pirina’s power suddenly increases, and it’s revealed that they had each fused with many Namekians from their universe before coming to the tournament, thereby greatly increasing their own powers. 17 and 18 join Goku to help in the battle against the remaining Universe 2 warriors. It’s revealed that Universe 2’s angel Sour has been broadcasting the tournament to the populace of their universe. Universe 2’s inhabitants channel their love to Zirloin, Zarbuto, and Rabanra, transforming them into forms similar to Ribrianne, Rozie, and Kakunsa’s transformed states. Goku, 17 and 18 battle Zirloin, Zarbuto, and Rabanra, while Gohan and Piccolo continue fighting Saonel and Pirina. The Universe 2 trio unleash a legendary Universe 2 technique, the Pretty Black Hole, which traps Goku and the androids, threatening to sink them through the fighting stage. Goku powers up to Super Saiyan Blue, breaks through the Pretty Black Hole with a Kamehameha, and eliminates Zirloin, Zarbuto, and Rabanra, while Gohan and Piccolo blast Saonel and Pirina off the ring with a powerful combined attack, eliminating them as well. With all their fighters eliminated, both Universe 2 and Universe 6 are erased. Brianne leads the Universe 2 team in a final happy moment before their erasure, while Cabba wishes Vegeta luck and Champa taunts Beerus before vanishing. Beerus remains impassive in the face of his brother’s erasure. Vegeta faces off against Katopesla, warning him that he’s in a bad mood.

Sounds like these episodes this month sound sucky! Until Vegeta’s episode! Oh well.

  • Brayan Carvalho

    TO THE FUTUREEEE

  • Yomi

Katopesla better put up a good fight : (

Also, they’re wasting Takahashi on a Vegeta episode. Come on now Toei.
Even if he’s fighting Jiren; he doesn’t even deserve Kitano.

  • dbz

universe 4 got eliminated? that mean universe 3 7 and 11 are left with 13 minutes left looks like there not much of the tournament left to go

  • dtrex

his name was vegeta a proud saiyan prince

  • Paul Watson

It Doesn’t Say 4 Got Eliminated, lol.

  • dbz

universe 4 destruction? now universe 3 7 and 11 remain

  • Paul Watson

Oh Yeah My Bad, lol. I Didn’t See It.

  • anonymous

I hope Frieza gets some screen time in battle.

  • Ryumancer

Looks like it. Good. Quitela’s a fukkin A-hole. lol

  • KDG

So Piccolo accidentally falls from the fighting stage, eh? Frieza may be next. Universe 7 seems to be only losing its bald fighters.

  • Strider Xanthos

119-At least we’ll get to see something out of Universe Four after so long. Explains all the Vegeta falling memes. #18 finishing them off sounds cool, but if Piccolo gets eliminated because of that…it’s just disappointing unless he’s tired from fighting the Universe Six Namekians. And why eliminate Katopesla, he’s my favorite Universe Three member, kind of like a Kamen Rider
120-Good, Universe Four is destroyed, I hated those bastards, and I can’t wait for Beerus to shove it in from of Quit….the mouse Destruction God’s big ego. Also, did Jiren wake up earlier a few episodes ago or is he now getting ready to fight? As for Universe Three, we all thought they’d be eliminated quickly, but kudos for lasting this long.
121-A four way fusion? Finally, Aniraza better be worth the hype.
122-Vegeta is figting Aniraza or Jiren? I’m still excited, but curious now.

“Dragon Ball Super Episode 122 – Staking His Pride! Vegeta Challenges the Strongest!!”

So basically, he’s gonna go on Jiren to get beat up and awoken his UI

  • jshep23

Who says the Strongest is Jiren and not Goku?…Jiren sure is interested in Goku’s new form, which means he’s concerned which means he’s threatened which means he is NOT the strongest.

  • Doobieastray

at the moment i think jiren is the strongest. gohan will most likely defeat jiren

  • Leo LeiGto

    lmao. Funny.

  • Leo LeiGto

    lel.

  • KDG

Jiren’s interested because Goku almost instantly went from being completely and effortlessly dominated by Jiren, to being able to instinctively dodge anything that comes his way, and gained a massive power increase to boot. It’s not because Jiren isn’t the strongest, but rather Goku’s power continues to grow in ways that are practically unheard of by those who are unfamiliar with him. Currently Jiren is the strongest fighter alive. I doubt Goku is going to win by surpassing him. So far, Goku hasn’t overcome any major enemies by actually being stronger than them. Beerus opted not to destroy Earth, Frieza caught a Kamehameha from Goku while heavily weakened, Hit conceded to Monaka out of respect for Goku, and Black was killed and erased. I just don’t see Goku winning this tournament by being the stronger fighter. While Ultra Instinct may be a form most Gods of Destruction have trouble with, it does not change the fact that Jiren is still stronger and faster than said Gods of Destruction.

  • Sasuke Uchiha

I think they‘ll win because of frieza

  • MrLex85

I agree with very thing you said except one: Goku actually dominated the Frieza fight but because he played around and didn’t take him seriously after realizing his Golden Form wasn’t perfected, he let his guard down (like always) and allowed Frieza to get a critical blow in on him. When he “tagged out” to let Vegeta get his turn, he asked him if he noticed too, implying he noticed Frieza’s stamina was on the decline because he wasn’t used to that form and was toying with Frieza to test his SSB form’s own stamina limit at the time.

  • KDG

I didn’t watch that fight in the anime, but if it was anything like the movie, Goku definitely did not dominate Frieza. If anything, that fight was pretty even, with Frieza even kicking Goku’s ass at a point or another. But yeah, Goku hasn’t really won many fights in Super by being stronger than his enemies, especially not any of the major saga-ending ones. I don’t doubt that Goku will defeat Jiren, or rather that Universe 7 will prevail in the tournament, but I have very little faith in Goku actually surpassing and overpowering Jiren. I see Universe 7 possibly winning on a technicality – they do have more fighters than Universe 11 – or by pure luck. As much as Goku has piqued Jiren’s interest, not once has Jiren actually come off as concerned or worried about Goku’s increasing power, even in Ultra Instinct form.

  • KDG

I doubt it, but we’ll see. Frieza has already played a good role in keeping Universe 7 in the game by torturing and eliminating a few fighters, as well as helping Gohan with Frost, and sharing his energy with Goku. To me, Frieza seems much too interested in Goku’s Ultra Instinct to be the reason Universe 7 wins. I think he’s more resolved to watching Goku learn to control or properly utilize and master Ultra Instinct to defeat Jiren.

  • Brandon Gray

Why the hell would vegeta fight goku as teammates in a battle for universal survival? lmfao makes no sense whatsoever, UNLESS, they come up with the plan themselves in order for vegeta to achieve ultra instinct as well and no intentions of knocking one another out

  • Leo LeiGto

    That Super trash episode.

  • Ryumancer

Blame Quitela and Universe 4. Well…wait. They don’t exist anymore. Serves that prick mouse right. XD

  • dbz

this dragon ball episode was great so universe 4 got eliminated only three more universes left to go now I cant wait for episode 120

  • dbz

technically he go eliminated after he got hit he lost his balance that when he fell of the fight stage

  • dbz

    quitela and his tricks

  • Ryumancer

No more of that crap for now, thank god. One universe I’m surprised lasted this long was Universe 3. I thought the robots would be scrap metal early on. I was proven wrong.

  • Ryumancer

    The episode was meh…

Piccolo got to shine but he also got eliminated. And both opponents in the episode were unconventional but ultimately underwhelming.

  • KDG

I’m aware. The comment was based off the first sentence of the episode 120 description, written before episode 119 was aired.

  • dbz

im surprised universe 4 lasted this long

  • dbz

hopefully universe 3 puts up more of a fight

  • KDG

You got to admit, though, recruiting the tiny bug-man, the illusion creator, and the invisible fighter was a bit of a genius strategy. Universe 3 got everyone on edge with the invisible guy, then used the little weakling to create illusions, following up with an attack from the tiny bug-man. They probably would have been able to eliminate a lot more fighters if not for 17 figuring it out as quickly as he did. It was a cowardly strategy to be sure, but honor means nothing when losing means being erased.

  • KDG

They’ll be gone soon enough, especially when three of the robots are going to fuse into one. Quite a stupid idea considering that one eliminated robot will amount to three simultaneous eliminations, bringing their numbers down to two fighters.

  • Ryumancer

U3 was the robot universe, not the invisible/bug one. Lol

  • KDG

Right. Universe 4 then. I wish these stupid universes had names.

  • Ryumancer

Would’ve likely been hard to come up with names.

  • KDG

Well if I could at least remember the names of all the Gods of Destruction, I’d stick with something simple like “Team Beerus”, or “Team Quitela.” But it just doesn’t seem worth it at this point, with the Gods of Destruction being erased almost as quickly as we’ve gotten to know them.

  • ayami

ya not much left but it says this tournament is lasting till march so that 12 mins is gonna be like bunch episodes haha

  • Ryumancer

    True dat

  • dbz

haha i thought the tournament was going to last up on till jan since there three universes left but yeah thanks for the info
