Dragon Ball FighterZ: Unboxing The Various Editions of the Game

Posted on January 27, 2018

Bandai Namco Entertainment has a few versions of the exciting Dragon Ball FighterZ out there in the world! They all, of course, include the same version of the Dragon Ball FighterZ game. The difference lies in all the extras that come with it. We’ve noticed seven different versions (there could be more) – the US Press Kit Edition, European Press Kit Edition, CollectorZ Edition, GameStop Pre-Order Edition, and GameStop Game + Figures Edition, FighterZ Edition, and the Ultimate Edition.

The first is the US Press Kit Edition. It comes with an astonishing and generous amount of goods. In addition to a copy of Dragon Ball FighterZ is an Xbox One controller, an Xbox One Controller Pro Charging Stand, Dragon Ball Dragon Stars Series figure, Figure-Rising Standard Final Form Frieza Building Kit, a FighterZ t-shirt, two FighterZ pins, a FighterZ keychain, and one year of Xbox Live all in a nice box with Goku on it. This version is not sold in stores and was sent by Bandai Namco to a select group of lucky people.

The second is the European Press Kit Edition. In addition to a copy of Dragon Ball FighterZ is an informative pamphlet on the game with a quote by Dragon Ball FighterZ producer (Tomoko Hiroki) and a set of beautiful Dragon Balls all in a nice box with Goku, Gohan, and Vegeta on it. This version is not sold in stores and was sent by Bandai Namco to a select group of lucky people.

The third is the Dragon Ball FighterZ CollectorZ Edition. In addition to a copy of Dragon Ball FighterZ, this includes a wonderful 7″ Goku statue with exclusive “Manga Dimension” coloring, an exclusive steel book, and three art boards all in a nice box with Goku, Gohan, and Vegeta on it. This version is sold in stores like Amazon.com, until the limited quantities of it run out!

The fourth is the GameStop Pre-Order Edition. It is technically no longer available as it was only for those who pre-ordered, but your local GameStop may still have it in stock so it is worth checking in with them to see. In addition to a copy of Dragon Ball FighterZ, is a mini SSGSS Goku figure. The video mentions an “Ultimate Edition” which you can read more about under the fifth video on this page.

The fifth is the GameStop Game + Figures bundle. It is priced at $94.99 USD and can be be purchased from GameStop.Com. In the video below you can only see the figures, which are of Clone Goku and Clone Vegeta, as these can be also purchased separate from the game for $19.99 USD each.

Beyond the five editions mentioned above, there is the Dragon Ball FighterZ Edition for $94.99, which includes the game itself and access to eight DLC character when they become available.

And there is also the Dragon Ball FighterZ Ultimate Edition (seen in the fourth video on this page), which includes not only the game itself and access to eight DLC character when they become available, but also an anime music pack and commentator pack! The anime music pack will be released by March 1, 2018 and the commentator pack will be released by April 15 2018 – these are both after the game’s launch date. In other words, regardless of the version purchased, you can already play Dragon Ball FighterZ since it is now available worldwide, but the anime music and commentator packs will be available for download at a later date. The anime music pack will be available to purchase separately from the Ultimate Edition as well from the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and Steam Store.

so the manga did it again it seems. i don’t totally remember the cabba recruitment of caulifa and kale but it seems cabba has gotten more fans from it lol.

i haven’t read the new chapters yet so I’m not 100% about kale being a gifted fighter before ssj and caulifa being a robin hood (both female saiyans sound the opposite of their anime counterparts)

and lastly not disappointed about god mode toppo vegeta vs toppo rematch is hyped.
