Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3 Coming to North America

Sasuke, Jugo, Karin, Suigetsu, Obito, the 4th Hokage! Namco Bandai’s got some great stuffed planned in the latest sequel of the long-running Ultimate Ninja franchise!

The news comes from the January 2010 issue of Shonen Jump! A subscriber recently received his copy of the magazine, very excitedly, and rightfully so, shows off the full colored page spread featuring Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3 for the Sony PSP.

The North American release was mentioned to be Spring 2010 by the subscriber, which is only a few months after the Japanese release of December 10, 2009. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3 will feature 4-player local multiplayer battles, as well as characters from the Itachi Pursuit arc and Kakashi Chronicles! The game is slated to have an unique storyline created by developer CyberConnect2 as well as the original one from Naruto Shippuden.

TOMY Corporation today released a first look at the dynamic jutsu moves and unique traits of Sasuke, Naruto’s ultimate rival in the upcoming Wii exclusive fighting game, NARUTO Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3. Players can experience the justu moves for themselves on tomorrow when the classic 3D fighting game launches exclusively for Wii. The upcoming title also features a total of 40 new characters, new and improved gameplay mechanics and for the first time, WiFi gameplay functionality.

Sasuke is a very fast character with a variety of tools at his disposal. He can use fire-based attacks from the air, which prong out in three ways to cover a large amount of space. He also has many teleportation techniques to position himself around his enemy with ease. In Latent Ninja Mode, Sasuke’s sword-based attacks see an increase in damage caused, so it’s important to learn strings that make him unsheathe it.

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast Charges into Game Stores Today

Recreating the popular Dragon Ball Z series’ epic combat in all its glory, Dragon Ball: Raging Blast includes a host of exciting gameplay options including powerful and customizable attacks, stunning HD graphics, and a variety of gameplay modes including online or offline versus and tournament matches.

Developed by acclaimed game studio SPIKE, Dragon Ball: Raging Blast features more than 70 characters, including transformations, facing off against each other in iconic battles throughout the Dragon Ball Z series sagas. Fans can play as their favorite heroes and villains to directly experience the thrill of epic match-ups from the series or play out never-before-seen hypothetical “what if” scenarios.

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast offers a variety of single-player modes as well as offline and online multiplayer versus or tournament options. About Orochimaru
Orochimaru is a melee based character that can utilize snakes and fire. His forward strong fire attack is good for extending damage on an opponent on the ground. Orochimaru’s jutsu, the Five-Pronged Seal, is also useful because it cuts off the enemy’s use of chakra for a short time, meaning they can’t use any moves that need to use chakra. Also, in latent ninja mode, Orochimaru gains a third jutsu, the ability to summon the great gate Rashomon, under his enemies to launch them skyward.

About Kabuto
Kabuto is a medical ninja, and as such can disable his enemies in multiple ways. One of his jutsu is an area effect that simply crumples the enemy, stunning them for enough time so Kabuto can get his hands on them. Kabuto can also use down strong to tunnel underground and clip the enemy’s heels for damage too.

One Piece Volume 0 to be Animated

The 49th issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine announced that Eichiro Oda’s One Piece volume 0 manga will be turned into an anime! In addition, the pirate manga prequel will be published in the 53rd issue of Weekly Shonen Jump in Japan. As previously announced, the first 1.5 million moviegoers at this December’s One Piece Film Strong World screenings will receive a “0th volume” manga volume. This manga story will depict the world of One Piece 20 years ago — in particular, the Pirate King Gold Roger versus the legendary pirate “Gold Lion” Shiki.

The animated version of volume 0 will be released on 3,000 limited-edition DVDs that will be given away in collaboration with the House Foods brand.

Viz Media has published the 22nd volume of the original manga in North America this month, and it is running the latest chapters from Japan in the English Shonen Jump magazine this fall. Funimation has been releasing the television anime version and the eighth film, One Piece: The Desert Princess and The Pirates: Adventure in Alabasta.

Naruto Returns to TV Today!

The widely popular anime series Naruto Shippuden debuts on Disney XD tonight at 8:30PM, with four back-to-back episodes. Naruto Shippunden is a widely popular manga animated series that follows a young ninja in training, Naruto, who returns to his village to find that everyone has been promoted up the ninja ranks except for him.

Tonight’s line up:
8:00 PM – Episode 1: Homecoming
8:30 PM – Episode 2: The Akatsuki Makes Its Move
9:00 PM – Episode 3: The Results of Training
9:30 PM – Episode 4: The Jinchuriki of the Sand

A week after that, on November 4th, episode five (The Kazekage Stands Tall) will air at 9:30 PM.
